We are one of the many people that had to have their pop top replaced on our Elddis CV80, through cracking with the solar panel on the roof. From our first call we had great service from Colin (Team Leader) at the Elddis factory at Consett in Durham. He was very helpful arranging the collection of our motorhome and keeping us informed of how the work was going. Helping us with the wiring for the new solar panel that I was fitting. He would call us on a regular basis on the work being done, the van being cleaned up and also arranged to get our campervan back to us. I would give him 10/10 for great service, communication and being really helpful.

Customer Service is a misnomer these days. Very few organisations employ enough people or experienced UK based people to give any kind of service to their customers. Standard cliche rejections are common place but not at Buccaneer Caravans I am delighted to say. Following some significant problems with my caravan and sub standard performance by the dealer, I was very impressed with the help, understanding and support I received from Helen in Customer Service who liaised with me to get an alternative dealer to rectify the faults. Very much over and beyond the usual level of assistance I am pleased to say. Well done.

Great customer service from both Michelle and Colin. Once we contacted Erwin Hymer within 24 hours Michelle spoke to us and we immediately felt that we were finally being listened to. Last Summer, after having our first child in May 2025, we decided to purchase a caravan to spend time together as a family in different locations around the country. We opted for an Xplore 304 and we couldn’t be happier with it. This is our first caravan and first experience towing so the light weight and compact size really suited us. We have enjoyed many long weekends away in the lakes and North Yorkshire so far. The caravan is compact yet spacious inside and has been a cosy space even during the winter months thanks to its gas and electric heating system. The overall build quality of the van has been great and it feels very stable while towing. Looking forward to many more holidays in our caravan.

We were looking to get replacement Elddis badges for the front and back of our new to us caravan as the dealer we brought it from removed them as it was a previous dealer special.
We posted on social media woth Elddis reaching out to us the following day willing to help us source the correct badges for our model. They contacted us again a couple of days later to confirm they had found the correct badges and would send them out to us free of charge (WOW). This was such an incredible gesture.
They also went above and beyond and noted we were missing a service from our record and have since helped us update this and transfer our warranty.
The team have been amazing with their communication and service.
In addition to the above we can also tell the quality of our new caravan 2023 is far superior to our previous van from another brand of similar age 2021.
Thanks Team Elddis i think we are in for the long haul!

I dont know where to start as I can literally say so many positive things about elddis as a brand. My caravan was bought new to us and its a slice of heaven.
What stands out to me though is the level of kind people that work for elddis, I recently messaged elddis on Instagram asking for some help with one of my letters of the model of my caravan being missing on front of my caravan and would they happen to know where i could get one from. Within 30 minutes i had a reply from Rachel who was the marketing manager, rachel was the friendliest and most down to earth, not only did they source it they was able to send it to me complimentary. We had a little giggle back and forth and I can honestly say it was a utter pleasure to chat with her.
Elddis aftercare is 10/10 and i would highly recommend them to anyone i know.

I recently contacted Elddis about serious water ingress issues with my 2018 Buccaneer Galera. Although my caravan is out of warranty and I didn’t get the goodwill support I was hoping for, I wanted to specifically recognise the way Allison handled my case.
From the outset she was responsive, clear and professional, and engaged with my situation over several detailed emails rather than just sending a standard rejection. She took the time to explain Elddis’s position, escalated my case for review, and offered practical help in terms of technical support and parts liaison with the repairer.
While the final decision wasn’t the one I’d hoped for, I can’t fault Allison’s attitude or the quality of her communication. Her customer service has been excellent throughout and is very much appreciated.

We bought our Avante 860 in 2021 in Germany from the only dealer specializing in British caravans. We fell head over heels in love with our "Eddie" from the very beginning. Since then, we've covered almost 40,000 km with our caravan, which is roughly equivalent to 10 years of normal use. It's seen all of Europe, from Denmark to currently southern Greece, including some of the worst roads imaginable, and hasn't had a single breakdown so far. Absolutely reliable, comfortable, and equipped with British amenities, it has made all our holidays and our current winter in Greece unforgettable. Our next caravan will definitely be another Elddis, but for now, we're staying loyal to our "Eddie."

Made one of our biggest purchases since buying our house, but shouldn’t have worried because Elddis made it so simple. The customer service was excellent! From helping choose our perfect vehicle an Explore CVX8 to the delivery day the process was seamless with full support from the Elddis team every step of the way.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Elddis to family and friends.

We bought a Buccaneer at the back end of 2024 for me and my wife, and we absolutely love it. We’ve owned caravans from other brands previously, but this one far outperforms anything we’ve had before in terms of comfort, build quality, and ease of use.
We did experience a few warranty issues initially, however Michelle in customer services was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly helpful, approachable, and made the whole process of getting things resolved stress-free. Her support really stood out and made a big difference to our overall experience.
I wouldn’t think twice about staying with Elddis when the time comes to change our caravan. Highly recommended.

We received ourbrand new Elddis Sherwood 860 in a April 2023 after ordering it at the show in October 2022
The dealership was fantastic but the caravan has not been so good all the years we have been caravaning and vans we have owned including a older Elddis caravan this one has been nothing but relentless trouble I would even go as far to say it is a rubbish van we have had damp issues found at its first 2 services water pump issues faulty fitting door blinds broken fridge door broken bathroom door not shutting I am sure there is more but I can’t list them now we have water ingress into bedroom via all the top cupboards water ingress in a complete straight line on the ceiling where there is a join on the roof water ingress in back locker and it’s so cold in the bedroom area we spent a lot of money buying this van and it’s spent quite a bit of time at dealerships being repaired if Elddis are reading this which I very much doubt as they don’t care we feel compensation should be given if not a completely new van
