I dealt with Abbey and Hayley regarding an order for my Isuzu D-MAX canopy setup, and the customer service has been extremely poor. I ordered EGR gear believing it was suitable for my Gen 3 canopy, only to then receive conflicting information about whether the roof racks would actually fit. To make it worse, the roof rack box states Toyota Hilux, despite my vehicle being an Isuzu D-MAX.

One of the parts also arrived damaged. EGR then tried to argue that because the damaged part may still function, only a partial refund was appropriate. That is not good enough. Damaged goods are damaged goods.

Rather than taking proper responsibility and resolving the matter simply, the process has felt like back-and-forth excuses, technicalities, and shifting explanations. Abbey and Hayley were unable to provide the level of customer service I would expect from a company selling expensive vehicle accessories.

The products remain unused and in their original packaging, yet getting a reasonable resolution has been unnecessarily difficult.
I would not recommend EGR based on this experience. Poor communication, poor customer service, and no real accountability when something goes wrong.

The item was purchased thinking it would fit my canopy which has Gen iii on it. It didn’t fit and was returned for credit but have heard nothing about the credit other than I would lose approximately $100 for the exercise being freight and store return costs.

I bought some window visors for my 2025 Tundra, but when I roll the windows down, they make noise and feel loose; they didn't come with 3M tape or the clips. I’ve sent four emails already with no response—they have no work ethic or respect. I had to take the visors off.

Item is fine, but communication was below par.

I emailed EGR 2 weeks later when I had no notification of shipping to Fourbies and had a reply that it was delivered 2 days after ordering.

Called Fourbies, they had no idea what the part was for and was just sitting there, booked in with them promptly and they were excellent

The overall service was excellent. The ordering was easy and clear to follow and the communication was great and delivery was quicker than expected. I purchased a mudguard flare kit in meteor grey for my Everest Platinum which is now fitted, matches perfectly and looks terrific. The experience all round was excellent and I highly recommend the company and its products.

Needed A key for canopy that was not available any where else. Web site was easy to find the correct key. Ordering was easy and keys arrived in reasonable time. Keys fully functional no issues.

After all this I ask for shipping label for a full refund and they answer with my missing parts are coming my way just to find out they send me some parts, not all of them,
Egr read this reviews .. it is funny the they only answer the good ones and no the bad ones o get better in customer service, that guy there need some help is only one guy the works there it seems

Customer service is really bad don’t know the name but the extension was 500 from the 1-800 number. Bought a bug deflector thru our dealership and the push pins that connect to hood ( mushroom style) didn’t reach. CS told me to try harder! Didn’t work next solution was to return back to the dealership. Can’t believe they make the length so short that nothing comes 1/4” longer. This was for a 2026 Chevy Silverado 1500 RST. The bug deflector was not compatible. Have put many bug Deflectors on over the years never a problem. CS was not interested in anything I had to say. I will never buy from this company again.

replacement window cost a fortune, still hasn’t arrived, customer service doesn’t answer the phone, they the email asking for a rating on their service. I haven’t been served yet EGR!!

Item was sent to the wrong house, a change in the shipping address was requested before shipping and label creation, but this scammy company still sent it a day later to the wrong spot multiple states away. The replies back from them show no sign of accountability and disrespect.

I have owned an EGR Rolltrac on my Hilux SR5 since 2020 when I purchased the vehicle new from Peninsula Toyota in Kadina SA. From the first month it was on, I have had nothing but issues with it in which it has aways been taken back to the dealership. In the first 3 months an EGR technician came up from Adelaide and spent a day reinstalling it. This worked for a while yet it started to have more issues with only closing half. I continually had to reset it at least every month, it stripped the Coggs in the motor which had to be replaced. I have had nothing but issues with this product which at the time of purchase was $3,300. The final issue I had was it stopped working in November 2025 in which the motor locked on one night and in the morning I had a flat battery in which the motor on the RollTrac had locked on and was that hot I couldn't touch it, it could have caught the car on fire. I have over the last month been back to the dealership which advised me to put in a claim in which I did. The claim was rejected by the warranty officer on the grounds that I purchased it as a package from the dealership. I replied advising that it is an EGR product and was fitted by an EGR technician. My reply from the warranty officer was "To pursue a remedy under consumer guarantee it needs to be lodged with the place you purchased the product from". So far I have spoken to Peninsula Toyota Operations Manager personally, sent emails and phone messages with no response. It seems that everyone has placed this in the "to hard basket" and everyone has wiped there hands of it. I was quoted over $4,500 to have it fixed/replaced as the best remedy. I now have a product that you have to manually open/close and lock and it opens itself when you are driving. On a warm day, it will burn your hands trying to close it. Anyone reading this, I would not go with this product, stay with a hard cover

Possibly the worst service from a company with inherent problems with their products.
I purchased an EGR Gen3 canopy just over a year ago and had nothing but problems with locking systems.
Now the back glass has shattered while it was parked with no sign of any impact.
EGR were not interested in assisting me at all and said that the glass is not covered by the warranty.
Nowhere in the EGR web page or any documents does it say that it's not covered.

I would understand that if it were broken into, I will have no claim.

But clearly the design is flawed, with the gas struts connected directly to the glass, this is a weak point and should be covered under warranty.

We picked the wrong struts from the info provided on their website. It turns out that changed 3 days after our canopy was made.
The customer service provided was exemplary. The correct struts were identified, paid for and delivered promptly. The return process had a few kinks along the way, but all times I was supported by EGR.

Exactly as ordered ….. from ordering, supply and fitting. As a dust seal for tailgate, I will have to wait for a few hundred kms on a dirt road for a total test.
