So... my 2010 MacBook pro had a damaged WIFI card after a power surge. I found eFix after a couple of google searches and got in touch with them. They were pragmatic, explained the cost benefit of a repair of a laptop of that age and when I said that the repair was more important than the economics they procured a legacy component and I couriered my laptop to them for repair. It was repaired quickly, the transport was tracked efficiently and they were honest which is hard to find these days. Hence a five star review for a company willing to take on a repair for an old laptop because some stubborn bloke asked them to!
