I actually used FBAR.US - which eerily feels much like the experience on this site.

Out of curiosity- for anyone who got duped on this and got charged the 195 processing fee, what was the name of the charge? For me, it was BOI Efile followed by what looks like a US number.

Was this the same for anyone else?

And did anyone here have further issues with identity theft down the line due to this site?

I'm an idiot put all my information & credit card to pay, i just dispute the charge & change CC but hope my SSN is safe, doesn anyone know what to look out for?

Fraud website. Overseas crooks stealing personal info. SSN! Please report fruad to reportfraud.ftc.gov

Its a fraudulent company whose site resembles the official one. Authorities should take immediate action against them. People share their sensitive bank information.

This is not the official site, I noticed when they asked for a credit card number to pay $195. The government site is easy and free.
I haven’t paid this site but feel such an idiot for giving them so much banking information. The site resembles the official site and is easy to mistake.

I too fell for this scam website. I paid the 195$ (I thought it was weird that they were suddenly charging a fee... but paid anyway) and seemed to get confirmation from fincen.gov. Fast forward 6 weeks - they charged my card again but for 295$ this time! I am of course disputing the charge and cancelling my card. What a scam!!! Shameful!!!

This is not a real business, just a scam.
Filing for the FBAR is easy and free with the official IRS website.
This scammer business offers no service, they collect the exact same fields of information as the .gov website and just rely on people being fooled into believing it is the official website and the $195 fee is charged by the IRS.
They claim submitting the FBAR is complex and they make it easy but again, it is extremely easy and they do absolutely nothing other than emulating the same structure of the official .gov website.
I emailed them immediately after making the mistake and they denied by request for refund while admitting nothing had been done yet and hence no service had been rendered. Stay clear of these scammers!

If only I could give it NO stars!!. I googled FBAR on line & this is the 1st website to come up. I didn't know it was a scam until the end & asked to pay $195.00 to process. I closed the file, but received an email a few minutes later to pay. Emailed them back to say it was an error & to delete the FBAR. I just hope my personal info & accounts are not scammed.

Very deceptive site. Looks like FBAR filing. I feel like a royal idiot and fell for it.

I feel like an idiot, but this website is very deceptive. It is the first google result when searching "efile fbar", and the form is structurally similar to the real FBAR submission website. I didn't realize it wasn't the official website until they asked for a $195 payment. Even the name of the company "FedServ" reminded me of "FinCen", and because I only have to complete the FBAR yearly, the similarities make the website seem legitimate.

This is NOT the site to file your FBAR / FinCEN form 114. Even if this "service" files on your behalf, their form is virtually identical to the actual form (so much so that I fell for their deception) and they provide no extra service. I only realised I'd been duped when they asked for a filing fee.

Now I'm writing to my banks to advise them that I shared private information with an unknown company that, for all I know, is completely fraudulent. It's time to change all my account numbers and batten down the hatches.

And yes, I shared with review with efilefbar. Will they come back and explain why their clone of US BSA's website deserves a filing fee? Let's see...

I blame google for allowing these sites. I did the same thing and submitted my account info as the site looks exactly the same as the IRS site. When I try to write them none of the emails work. Now I am worried about them having all of my info. I have had to change my banking info

Scam! False site.

This site is fishy, I didn't realise that they were NOT the IRS, so I submitted my private banking information, and the process never went through.
