Strongly suggest reading the terms and conditions on the website before booking. £20 per head to rearrange a booking, without insurance. So charged extra if you do and charged extra if you don’t. Seems the policy hasn’t been altered to take into consideration people contracting Covid-19. Called and spoke to reception giving a week notice which they would easily fill and still wanting to take an extra £100 ‘admin charge’ to rearrange date. Real let day after coming for past few years. Feels like you are taken advantage of, especially in the current climate ££.

Booked to go with friends to Eden spa, unfortunately caught covid 6 days before the visit. As I was unable to get out of bed let alone travel to the spa, my friend who booked the trip let the spa know and asked for my visit to be refunded. Was told it was not possible to have a refund as we hadn’t taken out insurance, £20 per guest. They instead issued a voucher for £79 . We paid £99 per person. I queried this and was informed that an admin fee of £20 was deducted.I asked how they could justify this charge as a salaried member of staff had merely sent an email containing said voucher. After 3 call during the day they finally agreed to reimburse the extra £20 but this has not happened. I still feel very angry that I was not given a full refund, I physically was unable to attend and as far as I am concerned they are keeping my money under false pretences which they cover themselves by saying it was in their terms and conditions. I now have a voucher which doesn’t even cover the cost of a return visit

I came to Edan hall on Saturday 19th march 22 after not been here for a few years, I came with my mum and the spa day was a gift for her 60th birthday. We felt the standards wasn't the same as the last time we came, food was nice but very small portions and little choice, the showers were cold, the pool looked rusty and dirty in places and the relaxation room wasn't as relaxing as it used to be,
it didn't have the same feel to the place. A big disappointment was my mum's friend had secretly arranged a surprise bottle of prosecco and flowers to be given to my mum at lunch time by the staff, this was all paid for by her friend for my mums 60th birthday BUT it Never turned up and the staff hadn't given her the surprise!!! Later that night after realising she didn't receive what she paid for she chased it up with the staff to see why it hadn't got given to my mum and they never even apologised or gave a reason why?? the friend is still waiting for her refund now!!!! Overall I wouldn't go back again I don't think it's as good as it used to be and il be going elsewhere next time, the spark I feel has gone from this place, even booking the spa day was difficult trying to get hold of staff over the phone was difficult the phone constantly rings, waiting for emails of confirmation that never came through so had to chase.
A big disappointment really for this place.

I’ve visited Eden hall spa yesterday. The place is lovely and the staff are nice and friendly. But after all It was a disappointing experience. Me and my friend ordered a breakfast for 2 and 2 coffees, waitress brought us 2 coffees and told us breakfast will be ready in 15 minutes. We had an hour left till our treatment. 40 min later ,still no breakfast… I’ve asked waitress where is our breakfast she apologised and gone to check. Came back with one portion and said she got the order wrong and we have to wait for another plate to come later. We didn’t have enough time to wait. Food was lukewarm . But we didn’t want to ruin our day complaining as the day already didn’t start great . Massage was absolutely wonderful and very relaxing. Then we had lunch which was very disappointing. Food was lukewarm and average. Croissant pudding was cold with cold custard. Very very disappointing and I’d say it wasn’t worth £400 we spent between us. Very overpriced for what you get.

I visited the spa with 7 other friends to celebrate a friends 40th birthday to our disappoint throughout the day starting with the breakfast that was cold and what can only be discribed as Low cost cheap bread. This continued on to more disappointed when going for lunch the food was cold and toon too long to come out then finally wanting go to the yoga class to finish our day I was told by the lady that was going to do it that only one other person was signed up to do it and hoped they wouldn’t arrive. I was highly disappointed with this visit and unfortunately I have been given another voucher for Christmas to use these facilities again, which I am I not looking forward to , very disappointed with it from start to visit

Massage was excellent and food was good too, but not much variety for vegans. The swimming pool didn't work in the last 3 hours of our stay so the bath tubs were invaded by the people who wanted a dip into the water. 10£ voucher is ridiculous amount to repay the inconvenience caused by the swimming pool unavailability. I think 20% discount would be much better. I had a better experience elsewhere for less money.

My party and I booked a full day 29/07/21. The day started off well with us being able to order our breakfast, morning drinks and then attend our pre-booked full body massage treatments. Following this, we were then able to have a nice lunch (expanding your vegan lunch options would be much appreciated as if I was allergic to mushrooms I wouldn't have anything nice to eat) which was nice. After finishing our lunches and spending time in the aftercare facilities, we embarked on our much waited amenities access to the Sauna's, hot tubs and then were hoping to finally use a pool fit for adults only. We were informed at 3pm when we attempted to use the pool that the pool required cleaning and and increase in water and we would need to wait 30mins which was reasonable and understandable. However, after waiting over 2hrs we were unsuccessful in using the pool due to multiple issues from what we can gather with pump issues, water levels. etc. Not being able to access the pool and the ONLY TWO hot tubs being available with so many spa users really put a damper on £165 day. I do not feel as if I nor my friends were able to get our monies worth and £10 vouchers does not reflect the disappointment of not being able to access the pool and waiting for hours for no reason. I do understand you allowed to "stay later" to wait for the pool instead of leaving at 6pm, however this was not good enough due to some of us having to leave at 6pm due childcare reasons and other plans. Additionally, as I was showering the water stopped, the used robes and towels were overflowing and the changing areas was more or less in disarray. Again, I can appreciate that things can happen but again for £165 for a day this situation could have been better handled. I would like to ask for us to be given a %40 off voucher for our next visit or day we can return to use the pool as we were not able to do this and this activity is what we were looking for the most.

Having heard so much about this spa I was excited to finally get to go. It was a special treat after a very difficult few months and I worried that the experience would ruin my feelings for my local spa. Turns out I worried needlessly. What an utter disappointment. From start to finish. Well not even finish as we left 2 hours early. There are so many points I can't list them all here. From the therapy to the facilities to to service. It was just a disaster and complete waste of money that we didn't have to waste. Needless to say neither of us came home relaxed. The after treatment room was so unbelievably bright it hurt our eyes and the robe supplied was threadbare in places and rough as sandpaper. I understand that it's probably been washed within an inch of it's life lately but for the price paid I expected something of a nicer quality. The therapist was lovely but they obviously have a strict routine that they are unable to deviate from if they come across a knot etc. It is not tailored as advertised. It took us a while to find our way as we were not shown and I was looking forward to being in the slumber room as I had been told so much about it. We found that it had changed greatly and did not have the same atmosphere. Sometimes change is not a good thing. The hot tubs were a lovely temperature as was the pool. The foot massage area of the thermal suite was not 100% working but luckily it was not full so we both had a working area. The food was very nice although we had to return the milkshakes as they were like drinking a mug of pure milk with barely any flavour. And luckily we asked about the bill as they were still on despite being told that they would be removed.
So all in all I can honestly say that we will not be returning and will go back to our local spa which is much better value for money.

Lovely spa, good staff and delicious food. We regularly visit Eden hall and enjoy a simply spa day, adding extra treatments. I recently had a mum to be massage which was incredible!
The conservatory is a great spot to relax as is the pool and outdoor hot tubs
