Speedy resolution following an update to the software. Thank you

I have two websites hosted with eco hosting and I’m very happy with their services. I am not particularly tech minded (I can do the basics with a little help from their chatbot) but their help desk has always been superb when I’ve needed them. A seemingly huge tech mountain for me is a small issue to them and it’s usually resolved in minutes. Thank you for keeping your prices low but your customer service so good.

I raised a wee issue on one of my web sites late one evening and it was sorted by breakfast time ... now that's service!

Started receiving Certificate Expiry warnings and all mailboxes were offline. Having done all the usual restarts, etc., I then looked at the trouble shooting steps, which would have resulted in a good few wasted hours of work & frustration for me.

Instead I raised a ticket and 2 hours later received an email asking me to check my emails again, and all was well!

So, most importantly, it was great to be sorted so quickly! Thank you Vanessa J.

An explanation & gentle acknowledgement of the inconvenience, would have earned the 5th *

Observation - Once a committed home troubleshooter, I'm generally now ignoring/bypassing the increasingly generic, irrelevant & time consuming AI generated advice.

Have been with EcoHosting for a number of years now and have had no problem whatsoever with their service.
There has been the odd issue with my email and website over the years, but each time it has been resolved swiftly and expertly within a couple of hours of raising a Support Ticket. I really cannot fault their support team.
Prices have unfortunately risen since I first joined them (along with everything else, of course) and cheaper hosting is probably available, but I have chosen to stick with EcoHosting, based on the level of service I have received from them so far.
You get what you pay for.

Support ticket was resolved quickly, and without any fuss.
I'm very happy to use a business that wants to help the environment.

Ecohosting are reliable and respond to queries quickly.

Great response rate from Customer Service Engineers and it's a clear platform to action items. Recommend!

Posted a technical query on support and got a response in short order. All the info I needed was provided and I managed to achieve what I wanted (setting up a forum) from the information given. Everything went through as expected and it all works like a charm.

Will defo be using Ecohosting again for future projects.

I've used Ecohosting for over 15 years and continue to be happy with their support. Its never easy for tech support gauging the appropriate level of tech to use in responding to a user problem as user capabilities vary so much of course. Eco don't get that right 100% of the time but almost always and react well when a more technical response is required.
This time, my query was for one of my clients cpanel accounts and was responded to 100% first time which is typical :-)
I'm very happy to recommend Ecohosting for shared server CPanel accounts.

Transferring a domain and email account without disruption was made a lot easier and less stressful with the guidance and encouragement from a member of Ecohosting's technical team. They have AI as first line general response to queries but on this occasion human assistance was more valuable.

After a long search for an email hosting company I came across ecohosting.co.uk. Not only are they environmentally aware but their customer support is great. Declan P. in sales was very helpful in clarifying any questions I had before signing up. Shaun P. in technical support, deserves a special mention for helping to resolve queries and issues. I hope this level of friendly, efficient service only continues with time.

I have recently joined EcoHosting transferring a domain that is used for emails to the HostPresto offering. The help I received with the migration was excellent and the setup was straightforward. The support team have been responsive and helpful with all my questions being answered promptly.

Always very quick service if I have any questions/problems. Their AI thing is also very good, so don't always need a human response. Been with them for years

Really helpful and quick response to transferring an existing website over.

Yesterday, I paid for two domains and one hosting solution. It has been 13 hours since I paid for the first domain and hosting solution, 7 hours since I paid for the second domain. Neither domain has been registered, and Nominet's lookup shows both domains as “not found” while other registrars list both domains as available, leaving these domains that I have paid for available to be taken by someone else.

I submitted two support tickets, the first more than 6½ hours ago, and the second marked ‘Urgent’ was submitted more than 4 hours ago. Neither ticket has received any response, and the domains remain available and unregistered.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time that EcoHosting’s support has been extremely slow. They used to be good and provide prompt replies and solutions, but in the past months, support has been incredibly slow.

Since EcoHosting isn’t responding, my only option to secure the domains is to register them with another registrar. This is unacceptable.

Update:

After 7½ hours, EcoHosting eventually confirmed the domains were registered but gave no explanation for why two independently purchased domains failed.

Then I ran into the next issue. I attempted to install WordPress (something I have successfully done with 4 other domains also hosted at EcoHosting), but encountered repeated MySQL connection errors. I submitted a ticket explicitly asking them to fix it.

After exactly 11 hours and 2 minutes they got back to me but only to ask if I had used Softculous to install WordPress. Nothing else. I assume the question was merely to add ‘support activity’ to the ticket.

It has now been 15 hours since I submitted the ticket and no solution in sight.

This ordeal has now lasted more than 1½ days. Although the domains are finally registered, I still cannot use them, nor the webhosting I paid for.

Just settiling in at ecohosting and finding everything to be running very smoothly. User friendly interface with helpful guides and tips. Haven't needed customer support yet but heard from the gravevine that is smooth and helpful too.

I've just signed up to Eco Hosting, creating my first website. It took me just a few hours to get everything up and running including the launch of my newly designed website. Excellent stuff!
