Confirmed order cancelled and misleading Trustpilot referral.

I am leaving this review here because a purchase I made on smartcurtainrail.com directed me to the Trustpilot page for EaseEase Curtains, and the two websites appear nearly identical in design and operation.

I placed an order on smartcurtainrail.com and received a clear order confirmation stating a total price of €18.00 with free delivery. The confirmation explicitly said “Thank you for your purchase” and that the order was being prepared for shipment.

After waiting beyond the stated delivery timeframe, I contacted the store twice to ask whether the product had been shipped. Only then did they respond, stating that there had been a “shipping configuration error” and demanding an additional $12 in shipping costs, or cancellation of the order.

When I pointed out that the order had already been confirmed at a total price including free shipping, the order was unilaterally cancelled instead of being honoured. In follow-up communication, they maintained this was due to a “pricing error”, despite the confirmation being clear and unambiguous.

While I did receive a refund, this experience was frustrating and unprofessional. Additionally, the redirection of reviews from one brand name to another made it unclear which entity is actually responsible for the transaction. Based on this experience, I would advise caution

The curtains are high quality but the…

The curtains are high quality but the hardware is poorly designed and they do not provide installation instructions. The videos they share do not match the hardware you receive. When you reach out to service they make it sound as if it is your fault and charge you more for additional hardware. Our curtains also catch at the connection points and all they say is we aren't installing it correctly and not using it properly. I would steer clear and use another reputable company.

Follow Up to their response:

1) they did not send replacement hardware. We ordered a double track and they did not send all of the hardware shown in the video so we asked for it. What they sent was not compatible and they said "it is ok you don't need it."
2) They provide anchors for the clips and during consultation did not say they need to be in studs. We upgraded the cheap plastic anchors.
3) When we ask why the track does not operate smoothly, they keep asking for pictures but do not provide a solution. It snags at the connector joints but they do not know how to fix this.
4) They charged us for replacement hardware, did not provide for free.

After reviewing your case, we found that the issue was caused by incorrect hardware placement. Your order originally included more brackets and accessories than required, and we even sent an extra set free of charge later on. When you mentioned that the parts still seemed insufficient, we reached out to confirm installation details but didn’t hear back.

From the photos you shared, we noticed that too many brackets were installed tightly across the top (only four were needed), and they weren’t anchored into the studs — which explains why the track couldn’t hold the weight properly. Because of this, when additional top-mount and side-mount kits were requested, a small charge was necessary.

We always want every installation to be beautiful and secure, and we’re more than happy to assist with correct mounting guidance anytime.

Great product + Top services

I learned about EaseEase on social media (RED) so I ordered swatches then ordered 3 roller curtains as a trial. The shipping was fast even though it was shipped from China. The packaging is top-notch. Very sturdy. The curtains are beautiful and easy to install. There was one small defect on one of them, so I reached out to customer service. Once they confirmed it was a material defect, they remade it and shipped a brand new one to me. I received the new one in 10 days and it was perfect. I have ordered some roller shades from Costco (Graber) before. Compared with Graber, EaseEase doesn't have that many selections, but the quality is on par but the cost is just a fraction. Highly highly recommend.

tbound inspection process, and as a result, all the curtains had to be destroyed and remade. I had to wait an extra week for this reason, but I don't think it's my fault. I didn't receive any financial compensation either; all I got was an additional tie-back as a gift.

The texture of these curtains is absolutely amazing!

I spent forever trying to pick the right curtains, and I'm so glad I chose these! The heavyweight linen feels amazing! so smooth and flowing! And the Body Memory Shaping is a game-changer; the pleats are always naturally rounded and elegant. They've completely transformed my space, and I couldn't be happier.

I just bought a curtain&pod in easease

I just bought a curtain&pod in easease. The quality is good. But it's too heavy (more than 10kg) to install in my bedroom. The screws basically can't hold the weight in my case as the wall in my bedroom is too thin for it. I contact them trying to figure out if it's returnable or I can switch to a lighter version, and here is their reply.
"Sorry, but this is not due to any issue on our end. We do not support returns or exchanges without a valid reason, as clearly stated in our Refund/Return policy.", "as we discussed earlier, the issue is due to your installation method. You need to use a curtain rod that supports over 10kg and mount it onto the stud.Or, if needed, you can also consider our curtain rod."
Basically they can't offer any help in my case and only try to sell more. Please be cautious of buying any of their products.

Regarding your installation issue, we have explained multiple times that all curtains and blinds must be securely mounted on studs and cannot be installed directly on drywall. We have provided detailed installation instructions and guided you through the correct installation process. Unfortunately, you chose not to follow the recommended method, which has led to this issue.

As a seller, we ensure accurate information and support, but we cannot be held responsible for issues caused by incorrect installation. We recommend referring to our installation guide or seeking professional assistance to ensure proper and secure installation.

The texture is excellent, and the delivery was very fast. The installation was easy, and my designer friend also loved our curtains so much that they specifically asked for the website.

ATTENTION! I HAVE ALREADY REMINDED YOU!

After I received the curtains, I just tossed them in the washing machine, and some header threads completely came apart. I had to hire a repairman from Thumbtack, which ended up costing me $140. I reached out to EaseEase for a replacement, but they told me the new curtains didn’t need to be washed and that I didn’t follow their washing instructions. They refused to send a new one. Are curtains really this flimsy? Really frustrating!

Fantastic experience

We first spent nearly $5,000 on three motorized shades from Hunter Douglas. But after a friend recommended EaseEase, we decided to give them a try and we’re so glad we did! Their roller shades are just as high-quality as the big brands, we’re really happy with our choice and highly recommend them!

The overall experience of purchasing the curtains was quite good. The quality is nice, and the customer service was attentive. I did have a few issues, like unclear shipping fees and the motorized curtains getting stuck in the track, but customer service helped resolve these after a phone call. The main issue was with the master bedroom, where the window is narrow and close to the wall. The curtain rod I received was much longer than the window, and while customer service had adjusted the finials because of this, the rod extended beyond the window frame due to the blackout curtain requirement. Since the window is against the wall, the extra length looks awkward, and when the curtains are fully drawn, the bed cant sit flush against the wall. We didnt know about the blackout requirement, and we dont even need it, so if customer service had flagged this issue, I could have requested a symmetrical rod. I assumed it would be, and didnt think to mention it. I wasnt entirely happy, but since customer service was so helpful and my husband said he could cut the extra length off, I decided not to pursue it further. However, after seeing discussions in the group, I thought Id share my experience as a reminder for others in future purchases, and I hope it helps.

such a hassle

I emailed EASEEASE, and when they didn’t respond within 1 day, I contacted my bank to cancel the order. However, EASEEASE shipped my order shortly after, and my bank quickly issued a refund. I ended up having to cancel the chargeback, which was a hassle. The whole process took over a month to sort out.

Quiet and easy to use!

After moving into our new home, we needed blinds for all the windows. At first, I was a bit unsure, but after giving them a try, I’m really impressed! They work smoothly and quietly, with a stylish, high-end look. The light-filtering feature is fantastic—it provides privacy during the day while still letting in the perfect amount of light. We’re definitely planning to buy more for the rest of the house.
