My nephews enjoy the books they…

My nephews enjoy the books they receive. Early moments is easy to order and very helpful when you need help with anything. Will be with the company as long as I can afford books for my nephews.

I never received the books and it is…

I never received the books and it is not clear as to rather or not I am going to get the books. I do not have an alternate address and I have never had a problem receiving anything before. If I don't get the books I will cancel my membership and go with a book club that will get the books that I paid for to me.

The books are great, However shipping information is not properly provided.

The books I recieve are great! However, the shipping information is never sent to me properly and the package arrives at times completely unknown.

The gift that keeps giving!!!

My subscription started with my first granddaughter and now she has two little sisters that will enjoy them too. I love the convenience and variety of reading levels that we have received. Thank you for the gift of lifetime learning. 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

this was a scam.

(Update) the line above is the only context I gave on Trust pilot regarding my situation with the company. However somehow in their reply they knew I was referring to thier predatory subscription only tactic that got me and charged me $21.99 every four weeks for three books I never selected. After only wanting to purchase one book for $1 as they originally advertized. The very fact they knew why I was upset like many others with their company simply proves they are actively aware many are unhappy with their methods, but chose to continue being deceptive. I maintain my 1 star review for this horrible company.

Blame customer for their website design bug

Upon subscription, in their website instruction states customer should be able to skip, resume, cancel and re-subscribe at ANYTIME.
So I tried them.
I thought I have successfully canceled and re-subscribed as my subscription status shows Canceled then changed back to Active. But later I was not able to login to my account. So I reached out to customer service.

Instead of providing support, they blame me for canceling before shipping of the welcome package, and states that was an action indicates that I'm not interested in subscribing, that I was only taking advantage, and the account was deactivated because of the cancellation.

Well, if someone is taking advantage, at least wait after the welcome package has shipped and then cancel?

If cancellation at certain time period will result in permanent deactivation of the account, please state so in your instruction.

If re-subscription doesn't work ANYTIME, should also state that in the instruction.

If the account is disabled, don't display Active to the front end user.

Overall it was a very confusing and unpleasant experience

Hi Kory, We're very sorry for any confusion and frustration regarding the welcome package and you account. When we set up an offer specifically for new subscribers, it is structured around knowing a customer has a long-term interest in our product, and thus we can give a very deep discount. If you express that you do not intend to continue a subscription with us, and cancel before the welcome package even ships, our system automatically stops shipment on the welcome package. We're sure you can understand that sending deeply discounted packages to those who do not intend to subscribe would not be sustainable. You certainly may cancel your subscription at any point in the future, but if you cancel before the welcome package ships, you become ineligible for that discounted package.
