Avoid at all costs.
My experience with Eagle Pizza was nothing short of disgraceful and was one of the most appalling customer service experiences I have ever encountered.
I placed an order through their app late at night, payment was taken immediately, and the order never arrived. As a result, I was left waiting for food that never came and ultimately went hungry that night. What makes this even more unacceptable is that there was no effective way of contacting the business to resolve the issue at the time. Once they had taken my money, they were effectively unreachable.
I was only able to make contact the following day, expecting at the very least an apology and some assistance. Instead, I was met with appalling customer service. The employee I spoke to was dismissive, unhelpful, and showed little interest in resolving the situation. Most astonishingly, they were unable or unwilling to provide the name or contact details of a manager so that I could formally escalate my complaint.
Businesses can make mistakes. Orders can occasionally go wrong. What separates professional businesses from poor ones is how they deal with those mistakes. Eagle Pizza failed at every stage. The order was not delivered, there was no communication, no accountability, no meaningful customer support, and apparently no proper escalation process.
Taking a customer's money, failing to deliver the order, leaving them hungry for the night, and then providing such shockingly poor customer service the next day is completely unacceptable.
This was an incredibly frustrating, disappointing, and infuriating experience. The service was unreliable, unprofessional, and utterly incompetent. I have ordered from countless restaurants and takeaways over the years, and this ranks among the worst customer experiences I have ever had.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Eagle Pizza to anyone. Avoid at all costs.
