Worst ever

Worst ever, no 24/7 communication. Too many fees for a small car. Pathetic service at Perth airport. Literally just want my money back today. I do not want a hire car.

Most suppliers will charge a one-way fee if you do not intend to drop your vehicle back at the same pick-up location, which is stipulated upon booking your vehicle. Our helpful customer service team is currently reaching out to you to go through this and hopefully clarify any worries you may have.

Good choice at a good price

Good choice at a good price. Booking process want clear, but when I phoned to make the booking, the agent clearly explained straight away that it would be cheaper to book online, and then let me know where I had gone wrong. All up a pleasant experience and interaction…very pleased.

Hello,

Hello,

Please do not proceed with the extra $1100 charge. The total price should have been inclusive, and I selected the Perth to Melbourne option, so the fees should have been applied automatically.

Overall, the website is good, but I feel misled. If you ask for a destination and enter the relevant information (in this case, Perth to Melbourne), and you receive a fee of $1930.94, then adding an extra $1100 plus other fees is confusing.

If there are any issues or questions, please reach out or call me to discuss before charging anything else.

BEWARE Alamo does not accept card with debit written on it even if once inserted have the credit option !

Alamo Anaheim (manager Natasha) refused to even try our debit card to see that it had a credit option once inserted, leaving us without a car, rented cars all over the States with different suppliers, never had a problem with the same card.
Wasting time, we ended up renting with Enterprise that accepted our card (like every time we rent) without problems ! (Better car,better price!)
Alamo sent us to DriveAway for a refund, DriveAway is telling us that we have to wait for Alamo to refund.
Still waiting...
