Good service, quality product
I bought my wedding ring from Dracakis. I found them to be very helpful and patient when I was selecting my ring and they made the ring within the time frame promised. The ring looks pretty good too, and they polished my fiancee's old ring for free.

What brought you here will not take you there!
More and more going to a shop to buy anything, needs to be an « experience », as there are so many internet options.
Buying jewellery, in particular, is the ultimate indulgence, for oneself or as a gift to a loved one.
I don’t feel ( and I have bought more than once at Drakakis) that Drakakis treats the purchase as an experience. It is a nonchalant business transaction through which there is payment and the good purchased is delivered in a cheap paper bag and a cheap velvety bag (with all the affordable packaging available out there?).
I do think there is a lot of room for improvement. Starting by offering a seat to someone’s trying earings or any jewellery, when the person is doing it with handbags and shopping bags In the floor.
It would be a shame to see the family business disappeare but they have to adapt to different times and expectations from customers.
I do sincerely believe serous thoughts have to be given to their future.
What brought you here, will not take you there...

We certainly care about every customer and prefer to do business in a friendly way, not cold and nonchalant. It is store policy that every item leaves in a box, the only reason this doesn't occur is if a customer requests not to have one, we then offer the velvet pouches for easier storage and protection. If this wasn't the case with you please do come see us and we'll more than happily give you a box. While you're hear if you'd like to bring in both pairs of pearl earrings and your pearl pendant, we'll more than happily give them a professional clean for you, free of charge, to get them looking new again. Very happy with work..ring sizing and repairs to claws of ring
However , when ring was collected , I expected the jeweller to come out and check that the job was satisfactory and ring now fitted correctly
a 2 minute check and then his staff could complete the transaction

When it comes to repairs our process involves the first consultation with our sales staff to advise on the necessary work that needs to be done. Once your jeweller is instructed and completes the work, this is checked by the business owners (Nick & Peter at Brookvale) and secondly by the sales staff all before you come to collect. Once you come to collect we've already completed an internal quality assessment. We do however check with you in store also to make sure everything is perfect in terms of fitting.
