My Petal Diffuser cord stopped working and it was no longer under warranty, I reached out to doTERRA's product support email and their service email address (both off their website) to inquire on ordering a replacement cord on Thursday, July 7th and didn't receive a response until Monday, July 11th.

"Unfortunately, doTERRA does not have replacement cords that we are able to send to members. If the cord is lost, you can contact the manufacturer for a replacement cord by emailing Puzhen Customer Service."

I emailed Puzhen several times and they never emailed me back... so dead end. I have since periodically emailed doTERRA's service email and product support email several times and have never heard anything back, seeing as it's been over month now I think it's safe to say they are ignoring my questions. Note, I'm not looking for a free cord I'm looking for information on how to purchase a replacement power cord or for them to let me know of a substitute. I tried buying one and it didn't work in the diffuser properly.

Fun fact! Young Living, a competitor of theirs, offers replacement parts you can order on their website... So seems simple enough.

After having all of these issues I started questioning the integrity of doTERRA, the way they treated me as a customer didn't line up with my perception of their company. So I did a little research... and this is not the kind of company I want to do business with. I would definitely read around if you care about buying from a company with ethics. Essential Oils are not yet regulated by the FDA so if the company you are buying your Essential Oils looks fishy, it's a little scary to put that product on your body or ingest. Just reading their Wikipedia page is eye opening enough... Seriously, read doTERRA's Wikipedia page... it has links to good sources if you don't believe what you read. Unfortunately I cant put links on this review. The Hippyhomemaker wrote a good review titled "Which Essential Oils Companies you Should Buy From".

"CPTG Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade"... The FDA does NOT certify the quality of essential oils by therapeutic grade and they do not provide a certifying label as claimed. So why would they put a "certification" they made up on their own products? Is it a little misleading? Do you think the average consumer realizes it's just a doTERRA certification? Google "CERTIFIED PURE THERAPEUTIC" and read the articles not by doTERRA...

If you are using Essential Oils you are probably the type of person that cares about the integrity of the companies you are doing business with. Don't just believe they are a good company because your friend that's a "Wellness Advocate" tells you they are, I urge you to do your own research first especially if you are using EO's regularly.

If are not sure what an MLM is or why it's bad business, that's another area to research.

Wasn't shipped from Doterra, was a reseller, slow shipping, questionable quality & overpriced. Found out I could have ordered directly from doterra for less! Never again buying from a reseller!

Fast delivery and customer service great will recomend and will order in the future

I love Doterra oils! Love the scents... I started using the shampoo recently and Doterra has the best I have ever tried.

Customer Service is excellent and the representatives are very knowledgeable. Website is easy to navigate, making shopping a breeze.

Bought the oils and can't wait to start using them!
