The content is superbly curated by all the content creators, and I can't fault the quality of the courses currently live on the platform. I'm disappointed that you're no longer able to purchase courses on a once off basis, but I appreciate the subscription model is necessary for scaling the business.

However, without a transparent cancellation process that is easy to locate on the site, I'm unlikely to sign up. A simple FAQs section that clearly outlines the process is a far better user experience than having to dig through terms and conditions (after you've clicked into the subscription purchase details).

This information shouldn't be obsure or difficult to find.

Thanks for clarifying the cancellation process. My concern is that this information could be a little clearer before going through the purchase journey, especially since the Terms aren’t linked in the main navigation. I’m not suggesting simply linking the Terms page, but adding a short FAQ with clear, step-by-step instructions on how subscribers can cancel from their account. That added clarity would really help with confidence when signing up.

Using Dometrain is always a great experience. The instructors are very knowledgeable and well regarded in the industry. The courses are typically well structured and come with full source code. They also often have a beginner level course and an associated, separate, deep dive version of the course, so more experienced developers don't have to sit through the basics of a subject before tackling the more advanced concepts (unless they want to of course).

The instructor, Mel Grub is excellent. He was clear, thorough, explained complex details extremely well, and varied his speech patterns enough that his voice never became a snooze-inducing drone. The course material is an extremely good introduction to source generators, though I feel it lacks sufficient depth and breadth to qualify as "Zero-to-Hero". That said, I do (and have) recommended the course to others as an outstanding introduction to the complexities inherent in developing source generators.

Everything I want to know about .NET ecosystem (technics, patterns, architectural styles) are here at domaintrain. It convers almost every topiccs in details.
What is special here IMO, there are not just simply tech courses about intresting topics on high level but giving me a knowledge, Ican use in my day-to-day work immediately.

Top notch courses targeting dotnet area. Exactly what I needed to improve myself and dive deep in topics which I was on a surface level.

The courses are well made. You can see and feel the effort that's put into making them as useful as possible. They even get re-recorded when feedback suggests the quality doesn't meet the desired standards.

Also, when there is grounds for frustration, Nick is acting in a way that really makes me feel valued as a customer.

I appreciate the option, as an existing customer, to email Nick to buy courses as lifetime access. Still, it makes it more complicated, which is why I can't give 5 stars in good conscience.

I have learned a lot of new technologies and new .NET features.

I would say the courses are high quality, not all of them but most of them. Lot of the course creators are really knowledgeable! Nick does try to improve courses if the reviews are bad, I appreciate the continuous improvement.

The website is good and has a good interface. I have never had any technical issues.

I really do not like the subscription model, I used to be a frequent customer but not sure going forward.

I have been using Dometrain for training for over three years. I dumped Pluralsight after many years of use due to the inability of Pluralsight to keep its material current. There is no comparison to Udemy since the pickings on the latter are seriously hit and miss when it comes to quality of both the material and instructors.

Dometrain's material is well defined, well-paced, and is obviously presented by those who understand the need to deliver to the student. I have never had an issue getting in touch with the people at Dometrain over questions or concerns.

I have used Dometrain to beef up my C# and API skills and to learn TypeScript. The introductory TypeScript course is probably the best out on the web.

I bought two online courses from DomeTrain on the 18/06/2025. They should be around AUD$238.00.- I thought that if DomeTrain is recommended by Nick Chapsas what could possibly go wrong. Well, immediately DomeTrain charged me AUD$248.14 and I thought that's all with it. However, on the 24/06/2025 Paddle.com charged me with the same amount. Sure, Paddle.com (British company) is the company serving those courses and DomeTrain just sells them and, in this case, it seems that didn't pay the provider. That's why I was charged with my bank details sent by DomeTrain. Otherwise, how they going to get them? I had to do a whole research to figure this out. DomeTrain didn't say a word about it. Now, trying to get my refund. Worst experience ever.

Dometrain has amazing, current, relevant content taught by people who have actually implemented the technology they are teaching in a professional setting. There is no re-packaging of material from source documentation that I have found (a very common approach elsewhere).

The Dometrain platform is very easy to use, it maintains status of completeness and makes it easy to monitor progress through the courses. I did have to reach out for support to solve an issue that I 100% caused and received immediate (and I mean immediate!!) support and resolution even on a Sunday...

As a long-time developer and now technology executive leader I don't get to code like I used too. I do have personal projects that I use to scratch the development itch and keep my mind engaged in what is new in the app dev world that I love. Dometrain has been that bridge for me, and I am thrilled with their practical, hands-on approach which I have been able to easily implement into my projects.

If you are a .NET developer, you cannot go wrong with the depth and breadth of the Dometrain catalog of courses - each course I have purchased has been worth every penny. They have everything from current, leading-edge technology stack to career building courses and everything in between.

Has to be the best quality hands-on training out there! I've subscribed to and bought many courses and training over my career and Dometrain has to be the best. I find myself buying courses I dont really need at my stage of career but love to learn and keep up with the latest changes - simply fantastic.
