I’m extremely disappointed with this…
I’m extremely disappointed with this car insurance company. I was told my renewal quote would be £333, which they claimed was cheaper than last year, but in reality it was only £20 less than what I paid before. That’s hardly a saving and felt very misleading.
The sales call was also very uncomfortable. The agent kept pressuring me to accept the renewal on the phone and didn’t seem to want to let me hang up to check other quotes. It felt like I was being forced into agreeing there and then instead of being given time to compare prices.
After the call, I checked other insurers and quickly found multiple quotes for under £200 a month, which made their price look even worse.
When I tried to cancel the policy shortly after, before the policy had even started, they attempted to charge me £100 just to cancel. Charging that much for a policy that hasn’t even begun feels completely unfair.
Overall, the experience felt pushy, misleading, and very poor value. I would strongly recommend people shop around and read the cancellation terms carefully before agreeing to anything with this company.

We have listened to the call and on balance we do not feel you were put under pressure to purchase the policy. The agent provided the quotation, and you chose to proceed at that time. However, we do take your feedback seriously and will continue to reinforce the importance of ensuring customers feel fully comfortable and in control of their decisions.
Regarding the cancellation fee, we appreciate your frustration, especially as the policy had not yet started. Unfortunately we do incur costs when setting up policies which we have to be able to cover for if you chose not to proceed.
