DJ City is fast and reliable
DJ City is fast, reliable and if there is a problem, they fix it and keep you gigging. Tyler has been excellent this time round with a replacement and got it to me in time for a Saturday gig when I found the fault Tuesday. It actually came next day. I've dealt with them a dozen times and it's always been excellent service and price with quality product. Thanks guys
online purchasing experience is disappointing
In-store service is excellent, but the online purchasing experience is disappointing.
The price-matching policy is extremely strict. Once an order is placed, price matching is not allowed. I requested a price match for a $30 lower price before the order was dispatched (dispatch took about four days), but the request was declined.
The following policy was applied, which is not clearly published:
“Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer partial refunds in these circumstances. All sales are final once an order has been placed and processed, and we do not adjust pricing post-purchase based on external offers or price differences.”

Fake reviews
Surprised by their high business review score on the website? Or why most of their products have 5-star ratings? They use a review platform that allows them to delete any reviews about the product or business itself. They deleted my negative reviews about the product I purchased and also the review I left about the business. They are obviously deleting reviews to show fake, higher review scores about their business and products. They are not using one of the real review platforms, like Trustpilot, because it's much more verified, and they can't manipulate the review scores.

Misleading customers
I purchased what was supposed to be the most expensive lighting system available and tested it the same night. One of the moving heads turned out to be defective, so I returned to the store the next day.
Upon arrival, a young and enthusiastic sales rep assisted me, and we were both shocked to discover that his colleague had sold me the wrong model, a cheaper model, and an open-box unit—all presented as a brand-new premium product.
To make matters worse, the sales rep who originally sold it to me didn’t offer any apology or acknowledgment, even while standing right there as the issue was uncovered.
Future customers should be aware of this experience and double-check what they are being sold before leaving the store.
