D34 is an amazing business helping renters out of the rent trap and into homeownership. I came across D34 around about 18 months ago when I wanted to save for my own place but wasn't sure how realistic it was. My first session with the team and hearing other success stories showed me I was closer than I thought, recently purchasing my first home!

Throughout my buying process, D34 was a useful sounding board and ensured I felt supported throughout.

Have strongly recommended to all my friends who want to become homeowners!

I just came across District 34 over a year ago through one of the home buying seminars. I'm not going to lie sceptical at first as there was a one of fee to pay and I just wasn't willing to part with any money while trying to save but the seminar for me was interesting enough that I decided to take a chance. My initial session with John he mentioned a LISA which for various reason (including a lack of understanding) I had previously discounted. John advised me to look into getting one just in case my search longer than I assumed. We went through a number of resources to look at my affordability, areas I could look at etc. I took the advice on and opened the LISA and attended as many sessions as I could. The D34 team and other members became like a second family. I could ask questions in the group and felt like I was amongst like minded people.

A year and a half later I finally have a house, which the LISA contributed to. D34 team helped me through every step of the house finding for looking at EPC ratings, what others were paying , negotiating a good price and most importantly how to nag my solicitors.
I am more than happy with my D34 journey and I recommend them with every fibre of my soul!!!!

I joined District 34 roughly 8 months ago and it's been one of the best decisions I've made. I'm currently on my saving journey towards owning a home and the support I've received is breathtaking. District 34 are great ! I’m still very new to the group but have been given so much information and support not to mention inspiration from being part of this network. Everyone is very genuine and caring and have a lot of knowledge especially for first time buyers most of the information is free and I can see myself buying into anything else because the information is very credible.

Spoke to the lovely Kennedy who went through the "Gem Finder" with me. It was lovely to speak to someone from the team who is at the same buying stage as me. Incredibly helpful and ingenious tool to find the hidden "Gems" that are specific to me, my budget and my preferences. Kennedy was extremely helpful, encouraging and knowledgeable. District 34 is the true Gem that has already helped me so much.

I've been to many of District 34's online events and also had a Gemfinder session with John,the founder. Everything that District 34 produces is well-researched and easily explained - I've learned so much in the past year that I really wouldn't have learned otherwise - or at least not in such a short time span. The Gemfinder session was extremely helpful in pinpointing areas in which I might want to buy considering my budget and priorities. Again, not sure how else I would have gained this knowledge on my own! I have recommended District 34 to all of my friends and have nothing but positive words to say about them.

John’s support during my Gemfinder session was absolutely brilliant. He broke down the areas which I could buy with my deposit amount. And further broke down best locations based on schools, crime rate and social settings. The session was extremely useful and narrowed down my search and made searching for a home more realistic. There's loads of information out there you can access to learn about buying as a first time buyer, but District34 really hold your hand as you get up to speed, sharing pro tips as well as personal real-life experience of how to navigate everything from planning and saving, adopting the right mindset and tools to set yourself up to succeed (basically life coaching!), taking advantage of the incentive schemes available, knowing which 'affordable' schemes to avoid, how to negotiate a sale and understanding mortgages.
They are incredibly friendly and responsive, as is the community of aspiring first time buyers they've created who support and encourage one another too. They really do have everything covered and are genuinely in the business of helping Londoners escape the rent trap as they say. I've been following them for a while and have learnt so much. I'm nearly ready to buy and now have the confidence to go ahead without worrying about the thousand things that could have tripped me up without their guidance and advice.

From the one to one with John to the regular knowledge gathering sessions and masterclasses within the Home Buying Club, I have gained so much information that has empowered me in my home hunting / buying journey. The team are always on hand to answer questions and the community help to drive understanding. Great service!

I have started to attend District's 34 free webinars because I wanted to buy a property, didn't know where to start and wondered if that was an option for me - given my low income and London's expensive buying market. Their content is so useful, very clear and helped me realise that yes, that was an option for me and what I needed to do to make it happen. The team is also very friendly, always trying to help. I love the fact that they're on a social mission to help renters buy their first home which is not something very easy to do especially in London. They make sure that you have ALL the knowledge so you can make the decision that is best for yourself. I would totally recommend District34 - which I've already started to do anyway
