We've now had several dispatch boxes from different chefs, they've all been good quality tasty food that we've really enjoyed cooking and eating. If your stuck in at the moment (we are) these boxes are a very fun tasty alternative to the restaurant experience.

We decided to try the Middle Eastern menu by Sabrina Ghayour and we were not disappointed. The menu was easy to prepare and the flavours all complimented each other. Would certainly try another of her menus.

Love this menu, allows us to try a cuisine unavailable locally.

The pork chop & chimichurri meal was cooked to instructions and turned out great, and added real apple
sauce gave a great finish, but the 6 pieces of crackling could
not be broken with our teeth or chopped, which let a very enjoyable meal down

We had the regional Thai Feast. The flavours were good, however it is not really a feast and the Soy braised beef was dry and not as expected. The sauce was very thin, we didn’t leave the table hungry but we didn’t feel we had feasted. At £80 for 2 people the portions were mean and it didn’t create the feeling of a special meal.

Dont join if you're a vegetarian. The selection of 4 options doesnt change I joined last year and cant spend my tokens due to lack of options. It's all just curry. I informed customer service but they are really not interested, they said they would pass my comment on but nothing changed, still nothing new appeared. They said there wasn’t much call for vegetarian….. but perhaps that is due to the poor selection rather than a lack of vegetarians.

The arrival of the box is exciting, opening to find the ingredients carefully labelled and menu card with perfect, easy to follow instructions and pictures to help with presentation. The ingredients arrive fresh, chilled and are good portion sizes. The variety of menus from different chefs makes it difficult to choose a favourite.

Such a lovely meal with clear instructions for preparation

We ordered that Miso Skier Cod dish by Michel Roux and it was superb. Flavoured and textures could not the faulted and it was a decent portion size.
It arrived on time ready for our Saturday night at home.
We would certainly order this one again.

We have ordered four meals from Dishpatch so far & all have been delicious. They have arrived on time, well packaged & clear instructions have make preparation simple. They are not cheap BUT are good value for money considering the quality. I would rather have one Dishpatch meal a month than a weekly local take away which invariably disappoints (so we do not order them!). The only issue we have had was one ingredient missing from our last order. The dish was still tasty, but the missing ingredient was a key part of the dish, so a little disappointing. Hopefully this is a one-off.

Edit: the customer care team have now been in touch and the matter has been attended to, to my satisfaction.

We enjoy being supper club members and having the occasional restaurant quality food at home. Our experience has been positive, having great food that is easy to prepare.

Very disappointed with my most recent experience with Dishpatch.

My wife and I have ordered from Dishpatch around five or six times previously and every meal has been fantastic, which makes this latest experience even more surprising.

After a series of delivery issues that required intervention from customer services, we eventually received our order. The meal was delivered shortly after 5pm and we ate it around 6:45pm. At approximately 2am, both my wife and I became unwell with sickness, diarrhoea, nausea and stomach cramps, resulting in a very unpleasant night for both of us.

To their credit, Dishpatch responded quickly, issued a refund and have opened a food safety investigation with their operations team and restaurant partner. However, at the time of writing, we are still waiting for the outcome of that investigation.

We have always enjoyed our previous Dishpatch meals, which is why this experience has been so disappointing. Between the delivery issues and subsequently becoming unwell, our confidence in the service has been significantly affected.

I will update this review once Dishpatch has completed its investigation and communicated its findings.

Waste of money unfortunately as a member if you are a vegetarian…the same meals (only 4-5 choices) for years apart from a slight change of a meze. I can’t believe that all these wonderful chefs do not consider vegetarian meals to be worth their time and effort…surely they have vegetarian options in their restaurants nowadays?

We have had 2 annual memberships and have enjoyed all of the meals. Unfortunately, as pescatarians, we are just not treated fairly as compared to meat eaters with Dispatch. Often the fish dishes have meat components which rules it out for us. The website was also changed to detail these meals as ‘fish lovers’ which means we have to study all ingredients before ordering now. Fish is also primarily monkfish and we are not keen on this, reducing our options further. We love vegetarian options but the same four choices have been on offer for as long as we can remember. I contacted customer services and was told that this is due to less demand. I fully understand the number of options might be limited, it doesn’t mean they shouldn’t at least change the choices! We pay the same membership after all. Sadly we have decided to cancel. It’s really disappointing as the food is lovely, but our dietary preferences are treated far from fairly by Dispatch

The Winner’s Table was sublime! The lobster tails were absolutely lovely, the beef fillet was amazingly tasty and tender and all the sauces that went with both were delicious. The chocolate tart dessert was just outstanding and I wished there was more. This meal was a great indulgence, helped by a birthday gift voucher, making my birthday meals sublime. As it’s all for me I could spread it over 3 days which was lovely.
I have bought many Dishpatch orders over the last 4 years and they have always been delicious, well packaged and delivered well as was this one. It was easy to put together and the instructions were clear.

We ordered the winners table menu. It was easy to prepare and the food was fabulous. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to the next one.

Absolutely stunning menu. The lobster tail starter was delicious and the beef main was probably the best I've had. Lovely chocolate tart dessert which wasn't too sweet but still indulgent.

Ordered a fish dish from Paul Ainsworth. The instructions were clear and the monkfish portions were generous. The dishes came together very well and were absolutely lovely.
The only negative with this order was that, whilst everything was either vaccum packed or 'sealed' in plastic containers, the cream container leaked priot to me receiving it.
Don't however let that put you off as the flavours very much made up for this very minor negative point.
