I fitted one of Direction Plus's oil catch cans to a 2025 Ford Everest. The instructions were quite lax. You should dummy-up all the pipework first to get the "paths" correct before you tighten up all the hose clamps - the instructions aren't really clear (more images should come with this kit or on their webpage). Also the 19mm hose clamps DO NOT FIT the pipe sizes. So best if you buy 14 new worm screw drive clamps (14-27mm) to make your life a hell of a lot easier. In the instructions it claims to re-use the existing factory heat shield (which would never fit in a million years) - but luckily Directionplus supplies a separate heat shield in the kit (they need to amend their instructions sheet to reflect this). I see the other review here mentioning cracking hoses after 12months. I really hope this isn't the case. This is an expensive kit compared to the one produced by Western Filters (fitted to my other 4WD - and has never been an issue) - I bought this kit by mistake, and I'm really hoping it doesn't let me down. I'd have given 3.5 stars, but you cannot give a half-star, so I'll give this the benefit of the doubt where it earns 4.

Bought an oil catch can from this company a year and a half ago. Installed it and thought all was fine. The only trips I have made in my vehicle are a 5 week trip to WA and a handful of weekend trips as I use the vehicle to tow our van. Was doing some work on the engine this week and noticed that EVERY SINGLE RUBBER HOSE COMPONENT in this kit ALL HAS CRACKS on every end of every piece! What a joke! I have replaced every other rubber hose on my vehicle when I first bought it and all old hoses had NO cracks when they were over 12 years old but this companys hoses all had many cracks in them after just over a year?? Obviously they are using sub-standard rubber hose to save money. I would advise anyone that has fitted this companys kits to check their rubber hoses as they are probably going to fail when you least expect it! Absolutely pathetic from a company that makes out that they produce "quality" products!

EDIT - Plus I am STILL getting a lot of oil going up towards the intercooler which I was under the impression this was meant to stop! YES emptied very regulary on my long trip 10k kms plus and also changed filter when I returned which is WAY less than the 20k-40k recommendation.
