Absolutely awful.
After renewing my car insurance with them for the third year at the end of August, I was assured everything was set up & ready to go.
However today I learnt they had cancelled my insurance two days ago, just one day after I paid my direct debit for the whole of October because they apparently ‘wrote’ to me needing validation which I had never received any letter/ email or phone call communication from Diamond regarding this. So not only have I paid a whole months insurance for 1 day before it was cancelled, they are also trying to take a cancellation fee off me later this month. I am heavily pregnant and due my little one any day now &
I am now stuck with a car which has no insurance & I am unable take this issue up with them until Monday as they are closed.
So I am left without being able to use my car for emergencies. Very distressing and not how you care for your loyal customers.
Have to say just made a call to the renewals team at Diamond and spoke with a gentleman called Dillan, who helped as I’m due to renew next month. Managed to lower my quote and I’m now paying less a month that I currently am. So helpful and excellent customer service from him.
I spoke to Meme A, who have reduced my renewal by £136. I have been with the company for two years now, and I have had no problem at all. Everyone I speak with is lovely and polite. Thanks, Meme A, for sorting the renewal out for me.
I have been their client for 5 years. I have an accident once and problems are starting. Zero answers I have to call myself. They delay the decision and leave without a spare car. I wish I had spent 20f more but I didn't take a more professional company

I was very unsure about what kind of engagement ring I wanted.
I had been looking online and finally decided but needed reassurance that I chose the correct specification.
My partner and I had visited the London branch which we didn’t find very helpful hence why we decided to purchase online.
I called the London store for help with the specification of the ring and was told to look online for the customer service number who will help me, unfortunately they were closed so I tried the Manchester branch and spoke to a very helpful lady called Daniela.
Daniela was amazing, she went the extra mile and really helped with my query and reassured me in my decision. She even sent me pictures and videos of a ring that was very similar to what I wanted!
I have placed an online order and can’t wait to see it.

My son recently had an accident in which his car was written off, when it came to the claim they offered just over half of the price it was going to cost like for like to replace it saying they never consider the price they are on for sale at garages because they can be bartered down and they wouldn't budge. May be true to a small extent but not by 4k on an 8k car.
Will be recommending people stay away from these thieves.
Diamond insurance is the worse insurance provider ever I honestly regrate the day I insured my car with them.
I insured with them in 2018 and I came out with a debt of £2985 which I had to pay out of my pocket. I resolved the issue almost 3 years later with no help from them. I would advise anyone to think more than twice before insuring with them. They also had most of my information wrong. one star is even generous.
Diamond are a fantastic insurance company been with them a number of years, always a friendly and understanding person at the end of the phone, I unfortunately lost my job recently due to the company I worked for going under due to covid, diamond were really understanding and altered my current policy at no extra charge as I had made my final payment a few weeks ago, they managed to reduce my renewal policy at a affordable price and once I’m back in work they will insure I receive the best price going forward, here’s to another year with diamond 💎 🥂x

Appalling service. A family member is visiting from overseas and wanted to add him to my insurance for 25 days whilst he and his family are here. After refusing to allow me to make the change online and having to phone (and then being asked on the automated message whether I knew I could make this change on my online portal) I then spent almost an hour on the phone (most of it on hold whilst various approvals were sought. To add insult to injury, I was charged half as much again for less than a month than I was for the entire year's premium. And there were so many excesses applied that it's hard to imagine when it would be worth making a claim anyway.
I will certainly never take out any insurance with them again.
Terrible company, awful customer service. Came to my renewal date, said I didn't want to renew, asking same questions over and over. Extremely pushy, forceful and rude. No confirmation email or follow up commication. Direct debit cancelled. Glad I'm no longer a customer.

Just renewed my car insurance Samantha was incredibly helpful at reducing my price and made the whole experience painless!
Awful claims experience. Fault driver is with them too so should have been an easy experience. I have tried to complain but no one comes back to me. Impossible to reach by phone. Oh and they have put up my renewal price for the pleasure of having another of their policy holders hit me in the rear... apparently I'm more likely to have another claim now!
I've been with Diamond for 9 years & they have always been very helpful with any queries. I missed my renewal date earlier this month & it only took 20 minutes total on the phone (at peak time!) to sort it out and reduce my price. Nicola was incredibly helpful and friendly & answered all of my questions.
Have been with them for 5 years and needed to change the vehicle - the quote was about £300 more than other providers and loads of costs to cancel. Would avoid - my partner has had much better service with Aviva.
Having had motor insurance for 45 years this is by far the worst by a long way. Our multi car policy went up by £300, yet there was 1 less car to insure and no claim was made on any of our vehicles.
Customer services is just the opposite of customer service. They aren't remotely interested in the customer, only how much they can illicit from them. Next year will be different, definitely never again with Diamond. AVOID
So I've never had to make a claim whilst with Diamond, so I can't comment on that side of things, but wow they have always been ridiculously incredible when I call up about my renewal. Don't use the online chat though! I got a quote on compare the market for £382 from another company, whilst my Diamond renewal was £700. I went on the chat and they said the absolute best they could offer was £500 and something. So I called up and Mark from Diamond went through every little detail with me, figuring out what I could do to reduce my quote and he managed to match my £382 quote!!! I'm so happy with them and this is the second year they've done this for me.
