Why can't I leave a zero review? Diamond couldn't administer a band-aid. Bunch of robotic muppets, and Admiral Law are spineless. Shoddy lot.

I called expecting to cancel my policy due to a huge increase cost of my online renewal, the advisor I spoke to did everything possible to reduce the policy and managed to reduce the cost significantly and amend all details necessary professionally,courteously and expeditiously

Given quote online. Went to retrieve, said I had to contact them. Went on chat after 20 mins of giving same info again was told couldn't quote as I only had 1 of the driving licence numbers with me - what a waste of time - will spend the 2k somewhere else.
My dual policy renewal arrived and what an increase! Not just on the policy but also the excess. I have been a customer since 2016 and had no claims nor has my daughter who has her car on the dual policy. I spoke to the cancellation team who shaved a small amount off the cost but not enough to beat the competitors and would not budge on the compulsory excess and if we changed the voluntary excess the price went up of course. Having told me numerous times what a valued customer I was, I explained that I didn’t feel valued at all and they offered humble apologies but no movement on price. So good bye Diamond insurance you have lost 2 customers.
Everything was ok until I had a claim. Someone hit me while I was at the lights with my son in the car at his car seat. It has been a year and I have paid the excess, it took them months to decide with the company of the other driver that they cannot reach an agreement. Now it has taken them months to provide all the info to their solicitors. In the meantime as a summary they are available but they don’t really help. I feel alone in this and I just switched insurance providers.

I’ve been with diamond for years with no issues, however recently they have completely gone down hill. Attempting to charge me over £1100 for a Mini Cooper despite having 10 years no claims. Absolute insanity. I agreed to a lower price via the online portal, was charged £10 to do my own admin, then they completely ignored the agreement and upped it back to over £1000. Claimed they then could not match the quote even though it had been less than one month. They are nothing but money grabbing leeches, just like every other insurance company.
I ve been a loyal customer since 2013, and the last 2-3 years they started increasing up to twice as much the policy for absolutely no reason. I have over 20 years no claim bonus and not even one accident. A shame cause they were good in the past, but now they are a rip off
What a total disgrace this company is,had a non fault accident and never received a loan car and declined there offer as the car was beyond repair and they just paid the money to my account. Stay away from these unscrupulous vultures.
Spoke to a lovely gentlemen today and even though he was in a call centre which at times is difficult to hear, He repeated everything when necessary. I called to question my renewal price as I know it had gone up vastly on compare sites also with the economy at the moment. (No fault of diamonds) it had doubled even with no accidents and 7 years no claims - but prices on compare sites were pretty much the same. After been with diamond for 3 years I questioned it and he told me he could do me a bit of a discount which is always nice to hear. Lovely service and great communication. It’s sad to see they have so many negative reviews because I’ve only ever had good experiences. Most things are online which I love - my windscreen cracked on the motorway recently, and Autoglass is connected to their site so everything was seamless and booked in a week later when I could get to the appointment. Wouldn’t recommend if it was my only choice, policy isn’t worth the paper it’s written off, charging me 220 a month, every time I rang to cancel you kept ending calls not one person is English so struggling to understand them and when I said I’m not paying a cancellation fee as I tried to cancel it over a month ago they tried telling me I had to. Would rather drive around with no insurance and pay the fines and take the points! Sh** show of a company!
Been a loyal customer for almost 6 years and my renewal price was double what I’ve been paying and the best discount they could offer was £10 cheaper! Insurance went from £1,158 to £1,416, absolutely ridiculous price increase and they’ve lost a customer, which by the way they couldn’t careless about! Found insurance nearly £300 cheaper than what they wanted me to renew for, such a shame considering they’ve always offered fair and decent renewal prices.
I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years and I renewed my policy during July. I had changed my address with the customer service agent over the phone (due to moving property), along with other details, and also switched to paying via direct debit. I wanted to double check that these changes had been made, but after logging into my account - I found that they hadn't. This included them still using the wrong house address, email, phone number etc. When I reached out for them to correct this, I've been told I have to pay an admin fee and my overall policy has increased due to 'making additional changes'. They still claim this is my issue despite having paid the admin fee in the first place when they 'supposedly' changed my address to begin with! I'm beyond frustrated - loyalty means nothing and it's funny how they are happy to accept my money!
Terrible!! Been with this company for 11 years with not one claim and the hit me with nearly double for my renewal price! £510 to £951! Contacted them and they said the best they could do was £806! Ridiculous, do not care that you are canceling, seem to have a terrible loyalty to customers, i said I would need to go elsewhere and they just said no problem that’s it cancelled, really disappointed! But glad to leave them if that’s there attitude
Avoid at all cost. I cancelled insurance but they continued to charge me. They don't want u to go and will not cancel despite me getting rid of car
Absolutely disgusted with the service provided by this insurer. Was unfortunate to have a fault accident and then took forever to repair the car by their bodge up approved repairer FIX AUTO. Car had to be sent back for poor repairs and missing parts. Was eventually given the car back with the repairs redone but parts still missing. The reply I have got from the insurer is that the parts are not manufactured anymore (8 year old car) but the car is roadworthy so there is nothing more they will do. Raising a complaint with the ombudsman now. AVOID at all costs.

After a move to Canada for work, I require a 'Letter of experience of Insurance' to confirm my no claims bonus. The term 'no claims bonus' has no meaning in Canada and so a formal letter stating there have been no claims is required.
For over 6 weeks I have been trying to contact Diamond to provide me with such document. I have spent hundreds on international calls with each phonecall resulting in an email containing a summary of my policy and not the requested letter. I have physically written to and emailed countless times their customer services department. I have not been graced with any reply. As a result, my current car insurance policy is several thousand dollars. To further my frustrations, my partner received the required document after one simple email to Admiral. Why does the same service not exist for Diamond customers?
I will not be insuring with this company on my return to the UK and I urge others not to if you require any form of customer service.
Luckily trust pilot don’t have negative rating otherwise I will BR assigning one to these scammers. I have reached FCA for the breach of contract. Please stay away from them.
I have been with Diamond for the last 7 years, I send an automated email every year for a high price renewal but after calling customer support I get a normal quote like other providers but this year the agent customer support was not interested in helping simply did not even go through the policy did not try anything. totally disinterested. Very sad very disappointed. If I can give 0 stars I would, just because of that agent...
This year was over £200 more than the previous year, unbelievable, I asked to cancel the policy and he did it straight away with no interest in helping, just like the agents in previous years, I'm shocked 😯..
