We manufacture furniture and work directly with homeware and textile producers to bring you the most beautiful, genuine products at the best possible prices. Most of the brands and manufacturers sell their products to distributors or middlemen who then resell them to other retailers. Each time the product is sold, the end price you pay increases. Ultimately this process makes the products you buy more expensive. That's why we offer our furniture and work directly with manufacturers so we can offer you the best possible price. Bad customer service.
I ordered a coffee table which was poor quality and when assembled none of it was aligned properly as the wood was badly cut. There were also left over screws with no instructions as to where they are supposed to go so maybe the instructions were misprinted. When I asked to return it as it was faulty I was told I couldn't return it because it was a sale item and that I had already assembled it. They offered me a 15% discount and asked me to take it apart and put it back together again. My husband has put together hundreds of pieces of furniture without any issue so the fault is not with him but the product. Disappointing as I completely wasted my money. Bad customer service and I will not be using again.

We’re sorry to hear that you’re unhappy, but we’d like to clarify a few important points for transparency.
First, this item was purchased as a sale product for £34.55, reduced from £78.37. The reduced price was clearly stated at the time of purchase.
Second, the coffee table was fully assembled before you contacted us. As outlined in our sales and returns policy, assembled furniture cannot be returned, particularly for change-of-mind or handling-related issues. This policy applies to all customers and is standard for flat-pack furniture.
Third, based on the images you provided, the item was not assembled according to the instructions, which explains the alignment issues shown. In response, we promptly sent you detailed assembly guidance to help resolve the problem.
Despite this, and although we were within our rights to decline further support due to the item being assembled, we still offered a 15% partial refund as a goodwill gesture, with the aim of reaching a fair resolution.
We always strive to be reasonable and supportive, especially when issues arise. For that reason, we are disappointed that our efforts—including a heavily discounted price and an additional refund—have been described as poor customer service.
We stand by our policies and the assistance provided, and we encourage customers to review product details and return terms carefully before purchase.

I ordered this unit and was very pleased with the quality of the wood and the appearance. Due to the wood, it is quite a bit lighter in shade than I anticipated, but this is mentioned in the small print.
The unit also had a small bit of damage to a corner of one of the pieces of wood, but we managed to put this at the back so it can’t be seen and Destina offered replacement or partial refund. I took the latter as the unit is so good

Definitely recommend a drill to put this together.
