The sales person was extremely pleasant (but NOT pushy) and gave all detailed information. The installation was done very professionally and in a shorter time than promised. We're delighted that we immediately noticed the benefits and within a couple of months (installation early in the year) we were already getting back money and now we're experiencing substantial savings. To date, we should find our costs should be paid off in a year or two less than estimated by DES. We're VERY satisfied!!

A great experience with DES. Came to us through personal recommendation, and happy to recommend on to others. As non-experts we needed a company to take us through each step, DES were perfect at this. Richard took the time to talk through options after his initial design - and revision after the DNO balked first time round - made it easy for us to make a decision. From then on everything move more rapidly than we expected. Alex really helpful with advice when he came to survey, and scaffolders, roofers and electrician (Kaylum) were all thoroughly professional and a pleasure to have working at the house. Speedy follow up after completion with MCS and DNO letters arriving just over a week later, alongside a full set of instructions. All in all, great service and a very happy customer.

The company were reliable, thorough, set out the process clearly and followed up quickly whenever I had any (minor) questions.

Last year I had solar panels and a Tesla Powerwall installed on my home property. I’m genuinely delighted with both the system and the service from DES Renewable Energy. From the initial quote through to the final handover, the team were professional, punctual, and clearly knew their stuff. The installation was completed neatly with minimal disruption, and everything was explained clearly so I knew exactly how it all worked.

The system has been running flawlessly, generating more than I expected - in fact over the last year I have had almost zero electrical energy bills. The Tesla app makes it easy to see just how much I’m saving. What’s really impressed me is the ongoing support — any queries have been dealt with promptly and with genuine care. It’s rare to find a company that combines technical expertise with great customer service, but these guys do exactly that.

I’d recommend them without hesitation to anyone thinking about going solar or adding a battery system. Excellent job all round.

I have taken some time to research a number of companies to install a Battery storage system for my existing Solar Array, I finally decided to go with DES. They have been very thorough and diligent throughout, all staff have been very competent in all my dealings. All have been professional and polite, providing excellent communications, keeping to predicted stages of progress and installation dates. The installation went very smoothly by Jordan who was polite, tidy and punctual. I feel confident and grateful to DES for a successful installation, my daily monitoring on the App has been extremely useful to understand the system and see the benefit of a Battery storage system.

I looked at a number of solar providers and decided on DES because they met all my criteria (experience, certifications, employment, technical proposal, price and after sales service).
I am pleased to say that they have lived up to all my expectations.

DES Renewable Energy has recently supplied and installed a Tesla Powerwall 3 Battery for us and we have been very impressed. This is one of those rare companies which is big enough to provide a great service, but also small enough to care and look after the customer properly. Right from the start, there was excellent communication from the office regarding dates to come and quote, and this followed through with knowledgeable and thorough staff who worked out what system would be suitable. The engineer who did the installation was very pleasant, diligent and took the time to explain everything. We highly recommend DES; they're excellent.

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. DES did a huge amount of work on the design and specification before we had even committed to buy from them. As our system was installed on a flat roof we needed sizes and weight etc to design the structural spec for the flat roof. Everything we needed came to us via email in quick time. The installation guys were great and we now have a great system that has been delivering 65% more energy then we use (July and August) which, after charging the batteries, has been fed back into the grid for which Octopus pay us. The Solar App is really good and shows us exactly how our system is performing in every detail.
If you are thinking about doing this, think no more. DO IT! You wont regret it.

I had an extensive solar pv system with battery and inverter fitted. I have an old property (200+ yrs)which is difficult to work on and far from standard but they designed and installed a great system which is powering my home as I type. The staff were pleasant, helpful and supportive. I would very strongly recommend them and have done so to numerous neighbours, friends and work colleagues.

I needed a replacement inverter for my pv panels as mine was over eleven years old and although not broken I didn’t want it failing in the middle of this wonderful hot sunny summer.
The electrician was very efficient and completed the job quickly. All went well and was back up and running immediately.

We did our research into solar panels including those recommended by a government agency. They were not that helpful. We were given three quotes by one firm with no satisfactory answers for the difference.
DES were very helpful and answered all our questions, providing clear easy to understand responses.
Also a plus was that DES using their own staff from start to finish i.e not using contractors.
The work was carried out fast, professional with next to no mess.
They dealt with the Network operator and provided all the certificates and guarantees very quickly.
The proof is that our system efficient such for this calendar year our electricity has cost us nothing and all a net exporter we are making money.
The cost of the system it was estimated by DES would be recouped in nearly 7 years..
Our own calculations based on our experience indicate that it will be approximately five and half years.
