Deputy has been very effective and easy to track our sales/labor. We have had some lapse with support and a few odd glitches, but that seems to be improving some.

Easy to use, friendly and intuitive for all employees, I can easily create shifts, approve hours and complete shifts for the team or individually and the best thing is the way I can export the information that I need.

Deputy has supported our business to accurately manage the rostering of our team. We really enjoy the simplicity of Deputy and the functionality of the app.

Deputy makes my life so easy and simple every week for a Payroll that consists of 50 employees with timesheets. Every week I am able to export the timesheets into our Bookkeeping system, Xero and then load up the Payroll. It saves an amazing amount of time and eliminates any human error. I highly recommend Deputy to anyone.

Deputy is a reliable application for managing all your rostering needs. My team really enjoy the simple navigation of the tool, along with the fact it is accessible on the go via the mobile app.

Deputy has been great for our business as it grows and has allowed us to easily scale our rostering and staff accountability accordingly. It has helped to take pressure off our management staff and allow us to provide more time to other aspects of the business.

Deputy has made it way easier to schedule employees. The clock in kiosk has been an amazing update compared to our last outdated system. We also no longer have to leave notes on my desk for requested time off. Deputy has made my job easier and has made employees lives easier.

Deputy has been a great rostering tool to get us off spreadsheets and easily see who is available to pick up shifts at the last minute!

I implemented Deputy before covid hit, which meant we had ample time to learn how it worked. After a bit of a steep learning curve for my boss, we now can schedule at ease, send our rosters and reminders to staff and we've been able to save money by utilizing the clock in/out feature. knowing exactly when staff arrive and when they leave, saves more than you would think. unlike some of the other reviews, I've personally never had an issue with customer support. they've always gotten back to me within 12 hours. they offer many extra services also, like webinars. 10/10 recommend Deputy!

I love this software. It’s so convenient I can access everything from rosters, timesheets & attendance on my app.
The only thing I can’t find or I haven’t seen is the section that will allow you the proficiency of each staff member’s.
Overall I’m very impressed with Deputy

Deputy is a great application for managing all your roster needs. I am a Manager and really like the overview and easiness of the application. It has some great features that other platforms do not. Also the App is super handy for our team members to use and have when not at work. Great application.

Find Deputy a useful program for rostering information when checking timesheets. Also for transfer of hours for individual jobs.

As shift planner, staff timesheet app I don't have nothing to complain.

I'm amazed they can charge for this... even more amazed after we were stupidly paying them for really crappy software that they would up the price so much on renewal.. Glad they did as we now use Sling, which is better software for a much more reasonable price (Free for scheduling) customer service on deputy is awful and the software is full of bugs that nobody has any idea how to resolve.

I have seen all kinds of cons in my life time, but by far this is the most pathetic. This company charges people for a service they don't use. I run an employment agency so I wanted to leave feedback here, so others can be aware and avoid this company. For the last 4 months I have been charged more than £1000 for 'SMS' usage. I did not pay much attention to my bills, until I was sent a bill of £750 and then something did not add up. I realised that I'm being charged nearly £500 for using SMS. I have never used this feature, since my workers use push notifications and Emails. So I queried this with Deputy. I am happy to share my chats with someone called Aaron Joshua Hilado, from deputy, so other business can see how genuinely thievish this company is: Aaron sent me a confirmation that Deputy has no way of knowing if I am using the SMS Feature. Also, he wanted to know, could you please ask your assistant if she uses it? So, I am being charged for 8800 SMS' that I have never sent, but wait, Deputy has no way of knowing if I did; they just charge me. I have said that I want my money refunded, so Aaron has provided my with a number to call Australia or the US, so I can ask the finance department. This is so insulting. This is basically illegal in the UK, or anywhere. A company has sent me a bill for a service I have not used, and when I ask for an itemised bill for the charges, they have no way of knowing if the items they are charging me for were used. So, how did that come up with the charges? They dont know. Please stay away from these thieves and tell others. My experience is real and my company is CADRE, so you know that it is genuine. Please look for other platforms and I'll be happy to join with others conned by this company to bring a claim against them to protect consumers.

Stay away. Doesn't work as advertised.

Absolutely abysmal support.
We raised a ticket in regards to data export issues ranging from:
Incorrect data
Missing Data
Missing Shifts
Incorrect pay rates
Jumbled up data
Incorrect calculations
Duplicated shifts

Basically what we're paying for the software to do....

In the week and a half we've been trying to get these issues resolved, we've lost two business days, have engaged with four people and still no one has actually started to actually deal with the issues. We passed from pillar to post by very courteous but useless support (based in Singapore) once of which Renz who only works between 22:00 & 07:00 UK time which is obviously no good to us as we are based in the UK.

Does not work as advertised. Stay away.

This is a rubbish app, please stay away from it!! It's cost me thousands of pounds of lost business in days, because my agency workers can't claim shifts, because we are unable to delete shifts. Every time we delete shifts, they reappear and therefore stop the staff from claiming new shifts, because it shows that there is an overlap. Every time you contact Deputy, they have only one or 2 workers available, who tell you that they have 'created a ticket' for you, or that they have 'escalated it' to their support teams. So, I've been losing business for weeks while waiting for the support team to delete two shifts. After nearly a week of raising the same issue, one of the 'escalating' crew told me that 'there are things beyond our control'. During free trials, they dont tell you that the app is beyond their control, or that you'll need to provide them backdoor access to your business almost on a daily business so they can sort out very superficial things that they are incapable of resolving. Please stay away from this crap if you dont want to be frustrated.

I've been using Deputy for the last two Christmas seasons for my seasonal photography business and they really make my life so much easier. Customer service chat has always been helpful (even when I have dumb questions) and I like that they have seasonal pricing options.

Rostering, reports, time sheets, attendance, integration with other apps. Deputy has it all and I am very grateful for all of its functions. Communication with employees, management of schedules and timesheets have never been easier. It's a joy to use, excellent user interface, constantly growing and improving. Highly recommend.
