On Tuesday, I had an email saying the dress had been sent out.
On Thursday evening, I got an email saying they wouldn’t be able to send it out for another 14 days!!
Didn’t give me any options, just refunded the money so have to look for something last minute.
Won’t be using again.

We are sorry that we were unable to fulfil your order within the originally estimated timeframe.
As soon as we became aware of the issue, we issued a full refund and, as a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience caused, provided a £10 gift card the following day.
To clarify, after the refund had already been processed, you contacted us to ask whether the dress would still be shipped free of charge. As the order had been fully refunded, the dress was not eligible to be sent free of charge. The £10 gift card had already been provided as our gesture of goodwill regarding the delay.
Whilst we understand your disappointment at needing to find an alternative outfit at short notice, we believe we acted fairly by issuing an immediate full refund and providing additional compensation despite the order not being fulfilled.
We apologise again for the inconvenience caused.

Easy transaction - minor shipping concern.
For the most part, this was a very smooth purchase. I did get a separate email from the shipping company to pay for duty taxes and I wasn’t sure if it was legitimate. It would have been nice if I was notified this could happen.
Otherwise, shipping was very fast, and the dress was beautiful and as described.

We understand how receiving a separate email about import duties from the shipping company can feel uncertain. We’ve now improved our checkout so that taxes are shown clearly at checkout and are prepaid before shipment, meaning there will be no additional import fees or charges after purchase. Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, I sent a dress back a week and a half ago. I paid for it to be sent signed for delivery arriving the next day by 1pm. No one has responded to my emails asking what it happening and if the dress has arrived, even though I have been able to track the parcel and it says delivered.
Extremely frustrating and feel very let down after my initial email response about enquiring about how to return came back to me the next morning.

We have reviewed your order and correspondence history. Your initial return enquiry was replied to on December 1st and again on December 4th. Both responses were delivered successfully, and you replied within the same email thread, which confirms receipt of those communications.
Your refund was issued on December 1st and is currently processing within the standard 5–7 working day banking timeframe.
As we always advise, as long as you have tracking details and they show that the return has been successfully delivered, there is nothing to worry about, the return is fully logged on our system.
We understand that you felt a response had not been provided, however the email trail indicates otherwise.

Disappointed with De Noir – Poor Customer Service and Unfair Treatment
My partner ordered a dress from De Noir, and unfortunately, it didn’t fit quite right—it was a bit too big. She tried it on once, carefully repacked it in the original packaging, and returned it. She made the mistake of not checking the condition of the dress before sending it back, assuming everything was in perfect order after only a brief try-on.
To our surprise, she was later told that the dress was “damaged” and that she had caused the damage. No exchange, refund, or even store credit was offered—just a flat-out refusal to assist any further. As a “gesture,” they returned the damaged dress to her, essentially accusing her of dishonesty without any evidence.
I work in customer service myself, and I know firsthand that customer satisfaction should be a priority. Losing trust and generating bad reviews over a single dress is not only shortsighted—it’s a poor reflection of brand values. My partner absolutely did not damage the item, and to be treated with such disregard is frustrating and disappointing.
We won’t be shopping with De Noir again, and we hope others think twice before doing so.

This is a scam
This is a scam, they refused the refund of the dress i returned inside the original package and they have now emailed me and said that dress is damage. I did not wear the dress at all so that is not possible and if it is damaged is not my fault, maybe it was damaged inside the track or in the wh and they are blaming me without any evidence at all just to avoid the refund. As i said the dress is with the label attached , inside the original package and i returned the same day i received it because it was too big and i did not see any damaged at all

We’re genuinely sorry to read your review, but we’d like to clarify a few important points.
Firstly, we have never refused a refund. In fact, as our email exchange clearly shows, we informed you that the dress arrived damaged with a minimum of 7 pulls on the back, which we documented with photos. We also clearly stated we were assessing whether the dress could be repaired - as a gesture of goodwill - despite this level of damage being highly unusual for any return, especially one claimed to be unworn.
Our Terms & Conditions require that returned items be in original, undamaged condition, and this dress did not meet those requirements. Still, we were willing to go out of our way to see if we could make it right.
However, at this stage, and considering the condition in which the item was returned, we are no longer pursuing repair or refund.
We stand by our commitment to fairness and transparency, and we encourage customers to handle returns with care and respect.
