Real quality chocolate with great customer service
This is proper chocolate without all the nasty chemicals and sugar. It’s how chocolate should be, tastes great and is a real high quality product - I’d highly recommend trying it. The personal touches from owner Dan with each order are really appreciated. Such a great buying experience.

One thing I've always wanted is for people to open a bar and think, "This is proper chocolate." Quality ingredients, proper cocoa butter and no palm oil have been non negotiables from the very beginning, so hearing that come across in the finished product is a huge compliment.
I'm also really pleased you mentioned the personal touches. As we've grown, that's something I've never wanted to lose. I still want every customer to feel like they're buying from a small family business that genuinely cares.

Quality over quantity
This chocolate is amazing. Normally I eat generic chocolate brands, and even after eating a whole bar I still don't feel my chocolate craving has been satisfied.
I ate two squares of this chocolate, and it is so full of chocolaty flavour. I am blown away by how nice it tastes and I really feel like I'm having a proper treat.
I gave my husband some to try (he is a tough critic) and he said I would never eat any other chocolate if I could just eat this and asked me to buy more. Second order placed.
It's not cheap but most of the time you get what you pay for. You certainly do with this chocolate 😀

One of the biggest differences people notice is exactly what you've described. Rather than eating a whole bar and still wanting more, a couple of squares can be enough because the flavour lingers and actually satisfies those chocolate cravings.
I also loved your husband's verdict! If a self confessed tough critic is asking you to buy more, I'll definitely take that as a win. 😄
And seeing "second order placed" tucked into the review was the icing on the cake... or perhaps the cocoa butter on the chocolate!

A Great Find
As a diabetic, I have had limited options in the past (although there are more choices now). DGF's chocolate bars are a great find. I enjoyed the pack of four but felt the orange could have had a bit more flavour. We especially like the dark chocolate. I have ordered again.

Really tasty chocolate
Really tasty chocolate, I especially like the milk and orange options, which I have to ration :-). Ordering is simple and delivery via Royal Mail is efficient.
Discovered these products via Instagram while looking for diabetic friendly chocolate. I have been impressed with the quality of the product and the communications.

Satisfied craving, slightly small
I ordered this in the hope it would satisfy my craving for chocolate while trying to reduce my sweet treats on a lower carb diet. The bar was much smaller than I thought when it arrived. I ordered the milk chocolate bar. I understand this is an independent small business but I found the price to be quite expensive for what you get.
The taste was hardly sweet at all. The texture was lovely and it is very creamy. You only need a couple of pieces to feel satisfied which is great.
Overall it is ok and lovely quality but sadly I won't be buying again.

I'm really pleased you enjoyed the texture and creaminess of the chocolate, and that you found a couple of squares were enough to satisfy you. That's something I hear quite often from customers.
I completely understand your comments about the sweetness too. We deliberately make our low carb, no added sugar chocolate very differently from most mainstream chocolate, so if you're used to sweeter chocolate it can come as a surprise.
As for the price... I completely appreciate that too. We use quality ingredients, proper cocoa butter and make every batch by hand here in the UK, so unfortunately we can never compete with supermarket prices.
I'm sorry we weren't quite the right fit for you this time, but I genuinely appreciate you giving us a go and wish you all the very best.

A diabetics dream
Being diabetic and craving a sweet treat I decided to try this product.
Amazing chocolate, tried the 4 chocolate box set and its great.
The taste and quality of the chocolate is as good as any top range chocolate and knowing it's not spiking my sugar levels makes it even more satisfying.
And my favourite... the dark chocolate!!

Back in 2015, when my wife was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, I wanted to create a low carb, no added sugar chocolate that people would choose because it tasted great, not simply because it was the healthier option.
And you've chosen the Dark Chocolate as your favourite... excellent choice! It doesn't always get as much attention as the Orange Chocolate, but it's one I'm particularly proud of.

I'v always been a bit of a chocoholic…
I'v always been a bit of a chocoholic and found the nutritional information listed on the back of most bars these days a real turn off. I decided to give DGF a try and I'm so glad I did! These bars are awesome once your taste buds reset and give you the full flavour of the cocoa. I particularly enjoy the milk chocolate bar and the orange is always a favourite. My experience with DGF chocolate and service has been nothing short of excellent 10/10.

I think you've summed up the journey really well. When you're used to very sweet chocolate, it can take a little while for your taste buds to adjust... then suddenly you start tasting the cocoa rather than just the sugar.

Purchased the pack of 4, 2 milk Choc and 2 Orange Choc. Tried the milk Choc and for my pallet I found it far to bitter and not milky at all.Contacted Deliciously guiltfree, who responded back almost immediately offered a full refund and even supplied a return lable, Great customer service and fantastic communication.

Oh my word! Cover me in chocolate and call me Mr T!
I’ve resisted until writing this review but I can’t hold back any longer. This chocolate is insane, as a proper choc lover it’s always a battle trying to resist from being a proper fatty and normal chocolate these days just isn’t the same, it just doesn’t hit the spot and tastes rubbish. After seeing Facebook ad pop up I thought I’d give it a go, it was one of those random transactions while bored by the way, The DGG marketing engine is very clever I have to say…So, after ordering loads of choc orange, a few milk and a dark I decided there and then that was it!! When they had gone I suffered from withdrawal symptoms and needed more, I’m a sucker for the vault but I still can’t catch the choc orange crunch, I nearly was only give a 4 star rating just because of that but it would be unfair. Im on my 4th order now and there’s still no sign of getting fed up of the taste, I’m almost certain there could be an addictive ingredient added 🤔, who cares, just give me more!! In a nutshell, this is proper chocolate but without the nasties added, everything else is just pants! Well done DGF people, your smashing it 💪

I was laughing all the way through... especially "cover me in chocolate and call me Mr T!" I can safely say that's a first!
I'm also very pleased to hear that our evil marketing plan of showing you a Facebook advert while you were bored worked so well... completely by accident of course! 😇
Four orders in and still no sign of getting bored is a huge compliment. The Orange Crunch has developed a habit of disappearing rather quickly, so I promise you're not the only one trying to catch it before it sells out!
And no... there's definitely no secret addictive ingredient. Just proper cocoa butter, quality ingredients and me spending far too many hours trying to make low carb, no added sugar chocolate that tastes like the real thing.

I'm a big believer in small businesses…
I'm a big believer in small businesses that want to take on the giant corporations and offer a high quality product instead, even if it's significantly more expensive. I support a number of them. What I didn't like was that, after expressing some interest, I was literally bombarded with adverts and emails which became intensely and increasingly irritating. I hesitated because it's eyewateringly expensive, but eventually bought the 4 bar bundle. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely didn't expect it to taste like the mass produced stuff, of course not, but equally I did have an expectation that it would taste like chocolate, probably a lot less sweet. Now, I'm sure this is a high quality product that contains great ingredients, but for me me it's just too far away from what I know as chocolate that I didn't like it at all, none of my family did either. Mostly it's because there's no sweetness at all, despite claims to the contrary. I'm sure lots of people will be fine with it or adjust their taste accordingly, just not for us. The email and advert spamming has continued to put me off post purchase and is the main reason for 2 stars. I wish you luck and genuinely hope your business does well, we shall continue to look for other alternatives.

I smiled when you said you like supporting small businesses taking on the giants because, if I'm honest, that's exactly what we're trying to do.
I'm genuinely sorry that our emails and adverts became frustrating. I know I can get a little over enthusiastic when it comes to talking about chocolate! We are always trying to find the right balance, so thank you for the honest feedback.
As for the chocolate itself, I completely respect your opinion. We don't try to recreate the taste of mass produced chocolate. Instead, we make low carb, no added sugar chocolate using proper cacao, cocoa butter and no palm oil. For some people it's love at first bite. For others, especially if they're used to very sweet chocolate, it can be quite different.
It's a shame we weren't the right fit for you or your family, but I do genuinely appreciate that you gave us a chance and wish you all the very best in finding an alternative that suits your taste.
