Firstly: Nothing I say here is a recommendation to invest on this platform - P2P loans are not for everyone and if you don't understand what you are doing, get advice. Plus they should never be a large proportion of your overall savings and investments in total, and no single loan should be too big a loss for you to bear..

If you do decide to invest in P2P loan opportunities, Crowdstacker is one of the two platforms I use and trust. But each loan still needs to be assessed for suitability to your own requirements. Remember higher potential reward comes from higher risk.

I've used Crowdstacker since 2015 and all loans have worked well, no defaults. Two loans have reached the end of their term and been repaid in full as expected, others are still in progress. Their support team is responsive and usually helpful and the main online functionality is good, although some areas have needed improvement. They do not offer many investment opportunities but seem to vet each very carefully. That said, there were a couple I wouldn't have considered, either because of sector (nightclubs anyone?) or the individual company.

I'm withholding that 5th star mainly because of lack of clarity over a scheme to receive interest on deposits waiting investments in their ISA. I hadn't understood the conditions attached to that, and they failed to bring forward suitable loan opportunities for me to invest in at that period (there were few in total). As a result, I ended up not receiving any interest on a tranche of money I could have left elsewhere. They kept me interested by saying new opportunities were coming, when they didn't materialise. In the end I transferred some of the residue elsewhere.

So far dividends always paid on time. Good rates and several alternative investments and time scales available.

Almost everything perfect, had a small problem with administration, a statement of investments and payments was wrong, but corrected quickly when I phoned to point this out.

I invested in a 1 year ISA which was easy and upon maturity funds were paid directly into my chosen bank. The only negative would be that I did not appear to receive an e-mail to notify me of maturity and have an opportunity to reinvest the funds so as not to lose the ISA status.

I have invested with Crowdstacker for two years and they have delivered exactly as promised.

All seems efficient so far. Just reinvested.

I have no reservations about investing with Crowdstacker. Clear & easy to use website. Excellent update of investment status by email. Approachable admin staff. To date all interest and repayments have been made on schedule.

I was a little cautious about investing P2P, as it was my first time, so I invested an amount that I could afford to lose. In fact, everything was straightforward and easy, from applying to monitoring and finally withdrawing my investment. It has given me a lot of confidence in these types of product, and I would now invest more heavily in the future.

Everything was as promised, no glitches or problems. That means that I didn't 'test' the level of customer service if things do go wrong, but I have made a decent return with this company with no hassles, so I couldn't really ask for more.

Reasonable IFISA interest rates but I would like to see shorter investments with interest on maturity - not every 3 months - which means I have to spend time reinvesting and, in the process, extending my investment period by another 3 months!!!

Since writing this review 2 of my investments with Crowdstacker have gone "belly up". I am awaiting results from the liquidators of these 2 companies before investing further.
