What a fantastic company. We were moving house and thought we'd give these guys a try. They were excellent from beginning to end and did exactly what they said they would. Crates were delivered and collected bang on time despite us pushing the collection back a day. Everyone was really polite and friendly, an absolute pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend!

Just used crate hire for the second time. I'm so impressed with their customer service all the way through.
We hired crates to assist my 83 year old mother's house move and these were delivered promptly. However, after being overwhelmed by the thought of packing 4000 books, she decided instead to get in professional packers and movers, and so we had to send the crates back 3 weeks earlier than originally planned! Return of the crates was easy, and the refund on unused time very prompt.
Mother commented that the person who delivered the crates was very polite and helpful.

Great service and a responsive customer service team who were able to make amendments to our order at the last minute. Only criticism was that the crates we received were not very clean and required a wipe down before use.

second time i have used Crate Hire UK. This time had an issue with crates not being scanned back in so was charged a second time, but Ben was really helpful and quickly credited me (before confirming return of crates) and then later confirmed receipt at depot.

I completed and exchanged house on the last day of the stamp duty relief.
Having moved before, I was used to the cardboard box arrangement, but I didn't want the hassle of having to recycle the boxes when done with them. I then thought about how my work did an office move and wanted to use crates in the same way. So I did my research and got a number of prices, and Crate Hire came out top.
Thankfully, the Crate Hire depot wasn't too far from me and i was able to pick up the crates.
Having done my move, I was in a dilemma as to extending the crates for an extra week. This was not a problem for Crate Hire to arrange, and done with great ease. Brilliant! It turned out that I actually didn't need to extend it for another week. This again was not a problem for Crate Hire. Just bring the crates back and we'll automatically refund you once the crates have been logged back in. Again, more brilliant news. Crates duly returned and refund applied.

I can’t thank the staff of the Carey Way depot in Wembley enough. First time I have hired crates and will definitely be hiring again, as well as recommending Crate Hire UK.

I've been using this company for the past couple of years now when completing refurbs within schools in the North West. Deliveries and collection of crates always goes without any problems. Happy to recommend this company to anyone working on commercial projects!

Amazing service. On time, polite, helpful. Alex was brilliant.

We used it twice to move the furniture from our offices. Both times they tried to say a large box was missing and they charged us for it... when we did in fact return all the boxes. This was outrageous.

fantastic service. I have moved over 15 in times in the last 10 years and cannot believe have only just found out about the crates. what a fantastic way to organise the move and not be left with boxes and boxes of cardboard to rip through to recycle.
I had originally booked to self collect and return but run into some trouble the day before delivery and the company organised for someone to pick them up for a small fee which was a massive relief.
I would honestly use them again at a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone who is moving home. the options of sizes are endless.
ps always go for more boxes than you 'think' you need...because you'll definitely need them lol

Amazing service, easy to hire, clear prices and incredibly easy to contact to make changes... what initially started out as a 2 month hire turned into 6 months, the ease to update the hire with the email messages was precise and easy... I can’t rate this company enough from the quality of the crates, to the friendly drivers to the incredibly helpful staff... thank you !! X

I would highly recommend this company to everyone moving home. Excellent service, flexible hire (I had to postpone my moving date and only had to give 1 day notice for revoking the delivery). Using crates instead of carton boxes is so much more speedier (no need to build) and they get taken away after you unpack. They also recommended an amazing removal company which was able to book us in at 2 day notice. Will use again if I ever need to move again.

The delivery and collection was good. They just dropped the boxes on time and collected them as planned.

The service makes you feel you are paying for a delivery though.
The boxes were very dirty. The lids don't have a system to lock them. They just close by resting on a closed position. If you want to lock them then you would have to buy your own locks for the occasion.

If the delivery was half the price, then it would be ok. But for the 100 pounds I've paid I expected to at least receive clean boxes.

Is still a good options if you have 100 extra pounds. Makes the move much easier. But it could be better. I think I would be happy if I paid 50 pounds.

Great service delivered and collected on time and pleasant staff

Excellent service provided throughout our rather elongated office move. The last minute extension to our crate hire didn't cause any issues and the drop off and pick up went like clockwork.
I would thoroughly recommend this business.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE TELEPHONES. CRATES WERE DELIVERED AND COLLECTED AS PROMISED AND EVERYTHING WAS EASY TO ARRANGE AND EXTEND ETC. VERY HAPPY. WILL USE AGAIN.
