I disliked the time slot and was unable to attend live. Waited to watch the recording. It was a little hard to follow the video and I haven’t even tried to figure out the pattern yet bc I’m worried I will ruin it.

Hello Christina. I’m sorry to hear the timings didn’t work for you. We always have our classes at 4 pm UK time and have done so for the last five years, this is so we can accommodate our large American (and Canadian) audience, Pacific Coast is 8 am and eastern Coast is 11 am, and our British people can join in too. Any earlier the Americans couldn’t join, and any later would be too late for our UK audience. As the classes are highly populated at that time, and have been for years, we have stuck to it! It was advertised as 4pm and ran at that time, but I’m glad you chose to take up the offer of the recorded class as the timing didn’t work for you personally.
With regard to having a go at the pattern and the video, I encourage you to give it a try, by the end of the class several people had watched exactly what you are watching and had managed to make their dresses. I didn’t cut anything out of the video that you would need, the videos are exactly what happens on the day of the class, and it was very well received, so I encourage you to give it a go. You can watch it as many times as you would like for 60 days, so take your time, don’t lose confidence and perhaps use an inexpensive fabric as a test. Good luck!!

Firstly, thank you so much for coming back, I can see you had a class in October and another with us in December which you very much enjoyed and wrote a good review for!
I wanted to see which class you had taken and I can now see the artist in question. I'm sorry to hear that you felt there wasn't a huge amount of information for you, unlike the previous two classes you have taken this was more of an explorative class where the teacher asked you to find your 'inner artist', so I wouldn't say it was a heavy 'information based' class and we did have some good reviews for it. But I do take your point on board and if we run the class again, I would maybe ask my teacher to include another technique or two.
It's always a difficult balance to strike, mostly we get 5 star reviews, so we seem to hit the spot most times! But I am glad that you found some new tips at the very least and that you came back to try your third class with us.
I do hope you will try your 4th!

I enjoy my classes with Crafty Monkies. Rachael seems to find unusual talent especially in the quilting industry. I especially like the class when recorded and have the opportunity to view for sixty days. Rachael keeps things moving along smoothly with great charm , humor and personality plus.
