My order arrived yesterday morning and I can say that everything was perfect! The dresses were packed very nicely, and when I unwrapped the package I was surprised to see how beautiful the dresses are, and they fit me perfectly, they look exactly like in the pictures! Thank you very much Cottagecorethings for the best services and I wholeheartedly recommend!

I hate leaving bad reviews, but considering I have emailed, Instagram DMed, and tiktok DMed the company, I feel the need to share.
The tracker I was given said my package was delivered. it was not. I waited a week, still no package, another week, no package. Finally I emailed them. No response for a week. Instagram DMed got me one response before another week of silence. Finally I made a tiktok and tagged them. Thats what got me a response. I was given a new tracking number (on a different, better website (why I wasn't given this one originally, I'm not sure)) and told my package was at my post office that's all. I went, the post office does not have it. I just want a refund, which I have stated to them multiple times already, but at this point it seems like I'm gonna have to go through my bank.

Terrible online service. Do not recommend. Tried to return one dress, the owner specifically requested sending back by ‘tracked’ post to China. No one received it at the stated address and wasted all the postage and owner said she would not refund unless she received the goods!

Amazing! The dress was perfect, and the packaging was absolutely adorable 😊

I have a few problems with cottagecore things.

First: I ordered a skirt and on the website it said that the fabric was cotton. When I got it, it was clearly a synthetic fiber.

Second: Their “sustainability” is a little suspicious. They claim to plant a tree for every purchase, but where are they planting them? Are they caring for the trees and making sure they live? It’s a little vague. And most of their products are made of materials that are harmful to the environment. They also ship everything wrapped in plastic and in a plastic bag.

Third: The sizing is weird. I understand that sizing is smaller/ different in other countries, but I bought my prom dress from this website and it fit like a glove. From my last order, only one item fit me, even after looking at the sizing chart.

Fourth: Their return policy is VERY sketchy. I went to my local shipping office and the woman working there said it would cost over $100 dollars to ship the package back. And packages are often “lost” if they’re being shipped to China. Cottagecorethings also does not provide a return label, which makes the whole thing a little more suspicious and expensive. They also specify that if your package is lost, there will be no refund without a tracking number (which will make the very expensive return even more expensive), which made me think that there have been many customers that have tried to return packages, and the items were “lost” while being shipped, and they didn’t want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a tracking number on top of the ridiculous shipping fee.
Overall, don’t buy from cottagecore things. They lie about their fabrics, the sizing is odd, and the return policy is suspicious. You will be spending more money returning your order than you did buying it.

Edit: cottagecorethings has messaged me after I made this review asking me to return my items if they are not up to my standard. Hello! That is the problem!! It costs hundreds of dollars to ship it back, and they won’t cover that fee. That’s why I can’t return it! I would be losing money that way.

The dress was nothing like the picture, the worst material I have ever encountered, complicated and expensive return policy, therefire I was unabke yo get a refund, overall very dissatisfied

Used to be great but as of mid 2021 quality has dropped off a cliff, clothes do not look like photos, and customer service has been replaced by automated responses.
I bought a dress and a blouse for my wife. The dress is a faded pink with cheap gold thread running through instead of apricot , blouse looks like Primark unlike the romantic photo.

So so happy with my gorgeous clothing and amazing customer service. My dresses were just as perfect as they were on the model in the pictures down to cut and colour, and just as princessy and swishy too! Such a versatile and beautiful website and after playing it safe by placing a small first order, I am happily placing my second (larger!) order straightaway. Thankyou!

Everything is so cute and well made. It all fits perfectly.

Took a bit longer than I anticipated to ship (around 20 days, so plan in advanced), but luckily it came right before I left out of town. The dress was for my rehearsal dinner and it was stunning! Everyone raved about the movie-star aesthetic that I was sporting. It was good quality for the most part, however there was one flaw on the bodice, but I was easily able to take some scissors to it for a quick fix. Overall, very pleased. Also, if you get the Hepburn dress, you have to do a twirl in it, the skirt spins beautifully!

I hesitated on this site for a few months before deciding to buy a few of the less costly items. I purchased the Dana dress in white and the Aspen skirt in apricot.
Both items arrived in 3 weeks and are true to the images- although I will say the images are glorified and make the items look *slightly* more well made/comfortable than what they are.
The sizing is tricky. Both items had different tags on them, leading me to believe this is a shop that gets items from other retailers. I am usually a small medium, and I order large size for both items. The dress is fine as it is not a fitted garment, but the skirt is still tight on me despite my having a small waist.
I am glad I purchased from this sight, but probably would not purchase again as I think they are slightly overpriced.
all in all, a good shop, but not great. They seem to be fairly honest and not dodgy, just slightly too overpriced for not the greatest quality.

Love the variety, quality and beauty of all the cottagecore gowns. The fits always perfect, the price unbeatable and delivery is fast.
