I was very surprised by the quote from cornmarket Insurance!

I moved my car insurance to cornmarket from another insurance broker in northern Ireland. The service I got from their advisor (Michael) was superb. He was helpful, knowledgeable and so pleasant to deal with. Michael made me feel that he was actually wanting my business and not doing me a favour by letting me insure with them. Will be staying with them. I would thoroughly recommend cornmarket insurance company

New to Cornmarket , staff were very helpful and the price was good . I have'nt had any accidents and had nothing stolen so have had no further dealings with them, hopefully it stays that way .

Unrealistically high premiums are demanded if you should happen to change your bike during the course of the year and you are then sent a £50 cancellation invoice (payable within 7 days) as a consequence of the existing policy having priced itself out of the market.

This pitfall cannot be avoided as you have no choice but to agree to it when the policy is taken out.

Had car insurance for a year. No claims, no issues so have no contact with Cornmarket, apart from monthly texts from them advising their claim line.

Yesterday received renewal quote with price rise of 38%. Called to cancel only to be told rise due to underwriter ceased trading last year. Slightly worrying who was covering me then. Call agent argued I wouldn't get a cheaper quote, and a bizzare claimmthry had issued 'the lowest legally allowed price-, yet 22 other companies coming in cheaper on price comparison sites and have taken new policy with AA at half Cornmarkets pricing. As a new customer I could get cheaper cornmarket quote but like many insurance brokers, Cornmarket seem keen to lose customers at renewal.

Nightmare to speak to someone on phone the automated message goes round in circles and can’t speak to anyone

I had my bike stolen. I was eventually offered a fair settlement. The broker especially looked after me and gave me great advice to use with the insurer, to my great advantage. I renewed my policy when I replaced my bike.

I'm sure many of the staff are great, but we had the good fortune to deal with Paul Casey. Having helped us sort our insurance in a friendly and professional manner, he then had to let us know there was a problem with the insurer (not our fault!) The insurer had threatened to cancel the policy or charge a significant increase in premium. Once I explained the situation to Paul, he took the whole matter in hand in a kind, helpful and professional way and took all the stress out of it. He found an alternative option for us that didn't cost any extra and sorted it all out. He was a pleasure to deal with, and on that basis, I'd highly recommend Cornmarket. Thank you, Paul!

We chose Cornmarket when we purchased a new car following the theft of our previous one and what a difference from our previous insurers. First time I have used Cornmarket for my car insurance. I found them very competitive for the level of insurance I wanted. They were very professional to deal with. I had the need to speak to someone on their telephone team on a question I had. The phone was answered quickly, and no mind numbing menus. My question was dealt with very well. Overall I have been impressed and would recommend.

Impossible to speak to someone who can deal with an urgent policy change. Not open weekends and when finally get hold of someone, get told that they are unable to deal with it and will get someone to phone back. No call back so phone again after an hour, told that call backs can take a day for response. Tried to cancel, get told that they cannot do that over the phone. Absolute joke.
