Shady and Unprofessional
Contacted an agent about an apartment that had been listed minutes before. I was told, without further explanation, that the earliest they could show it was a week away (quite unusual in this area, but fine). I said okay and took the appointment. In the meantime, I reached out to the agent again to ask if I could get an application ahead of time in order to be prepared. No response. On the day of the showing, I sent an email to confirm my appointment. I received a terse response that my appointment was "no longer confirmed". I suspect that if I hadn't reached out that I would have shown up and the agent wouldn't have been there. I then checked the listing online a couple of hours later and saw that it had been rented that day. I found the entire experience to be frustrating and incredibly unprofessional. As a large well-known company, I would have expected Corcoran to have higher standards for its agents. I'll steer clear of them in the future.
