Purchased a hair styler from Comwales. Took almost a month to arrive.
Hair Styler overheated and head fell off. Comwales refuse to exchange or refund as they said I have broken clips - despite me telling them there are no clips to break. Extreme overheating caused plastic to weaken and cause head to fall off.
Others on amazon have had same defect so its a known defect- presume this is a tactic not to issue exchanges or refunds.
Very poor!

I would buy elsewhere

I'd ordered a meat slicer from comwales - attracted by the good price and availability.

I only looked at the reviews on Trustpilot after making the order and based on the reviews was ready to abandon hope.

However, the slicer turned up about when they'd promised, well packed and everything in order.

So my experience has been fine, and I thought it worthwhile adding this to Trustpilot given the many negative reviews.

I'm only docking one point as the site is not quite as polished as an you might expect in 2022/23, it seems to exist as a number of related domains - .com/ .net/ .co.uk with certificate errors on the last one. It's also difficult to track the status of orders that being processed.

But overall, happy with this experience and would use again.

1 ⭐️ is grossly overrating this company. More than 5 weeks have passed. They still have my money, no item has been delivered and my emails are being ignored. Do not consider ordering anything from this company’s website. They are charlatans.

After a fair amount of chasing and e-mailing I am happy to say I am now in receipt of my refund, bad experience all round and a lot of stress but they came good in the end !

DISHONEST SCAMMERS. If you read my last review dated 22nd Nov 2022 and all those who fed back before it you will quickly realise you’ve been robbed. I have reported ComWales officially to trading standards and sent the official letter they advised me to send requesting a refund. The recorded delivery signature I received from Royal Mail is a ‘X’ so no way of tracing who signed for it - why doesn’t that surprise me? They are thieves! NO microwave and NO refund. It is now in the hands if my bank to retrieve my payment. It’s caused so much stress and I feel so let down. DO NOT TAKE THEIR WEBSITE FEEDBACK AS GOSPEL - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I have ordered from over a dozen websites for kitchen appliances in the past few months and this one is the worst by a mile and then some! I purchased a microwave with the website stating usual delivery was between 5 - 10 working days...well after 7 weeks it still hadn't arrived and I was forced to get a refund through my bank!

I initially ordered without checking recent reviews (my mistake) as they were offering a price much cheaper than anywhere else. I guess I can see why now!

Every time I checked the online tracker the estimated delivery was pushed back another week - I tried to email but would receive a response a week later if I was lucky just saying the delivery was pushed back - if I tried to call they would just cut me off!

I am careful for leaving negative reviews on businesses as I know how detrimental they can be but this company is the worst I have experienced in years - I do question whether it is a scam to be honest. Again...DON'T ORDER FROM COMWALES!

I ordered an item on 11th October on the understanding it would take up to 10 working days to arrive. I waited until 20 working days after the order was placed to contact the company to enquire where the product was. I received a reply acknowledging the time delay and stating a duplicate order had been placed and I would receive this soon. Despite a number of emails, I have not received either the original or alleged duplicate, or the update promised. It is now over 30 working days since my original order. I have asked for a refund twice and received no response. This leaves me unable to purchase the item from a reputable company and facing the prospect of explaining to my child why she does not have the gift she longs for. Please do not make the mistake I did. Avoid this bunch of time wasters and fraudsters at all costs.

I purchased an item from Conwales sorry Comwales on October 3rd 2022 and I’m still waiting,after countless emails and them now saying the 2nd one is now on the way as the first one got lost,after paying you will find they will never send you tracking information and keep fobbing you off, conveniently no number to ring them on either,I now know I’ve been scammed so it’s very doubtful I’ll ever see my item or a refund,PLEASE GUYS DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE,Comwales website reviews are fake so please read Trustpilot reviews first and whatever you do DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAMMER’S.UPDATE 31/10/2022 after writing this honest review Comwales surprise surprise gave me a full refund 👍

I never received my order after over 6 weeks. They have not refunded me. They said they stopped the order after several emails from me, and said they would refund me. I am still waiting for a refund. They have no phone number to contact them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They should be dissolved by trading standards as it appears lots of people have the same experience.

Item didn’t arrive, they responded and sent me a replacement allegedly, but I’d never received a dispatch note so do wonder if first order ever existed.
Item was for my daughters birthday which then arrived way past the date
Then item arrives with an accessory missing, I wouldn’t have bought the bag without the charm as it was the nicest part of the bag and I already over paid for it as daughter desperately wanted it
6 emails I’ve sent over the course of a fortnight, not a one replied to! Came on here to check them out (should have done this first!) and see their terrible score (see also comwales.co.uk same company)

What an absolute bunch of clowns.
Ordered some cases November 2021, which were incredibly sub-standard and simply fell apart.
I sent photos, and requested a refund, and the communication has been very slow. I have needed to chase them every step of the way.
On 25 January 2021 They asked for the size and weight of the package, which I told them on 26 January.
I chased them on 16 March for an update. Heard nothing until today (17 May), when they suggest that they sent me an email, asking me if I had a printer, (which they absolutely didn't send).
They are ow suggesting that due to the length of time, they can now no longer issue a refund

Purchased a Siemens Kettle at the end of November for a Christmas present. They stated we'd have it by 9th December, but there was a chance of a delay.... Well it's almost been a month.
We'd attempted contacting them via phone, no answer, and just cut off. We sent various emails with no response, and then finally today they refunded our monies.

If l could give them a minus rating l would ::: bought a truck for Christmas for my grandson payed for it then nothing ::: they won’t answer the phone::: won’t answer emails nothing :::lm in total limbo::: when l asked about delivery on line they stated b4 Xmas:::: so l paid ::: then nothing whatsoever ever really getting worried now spent over £70 with them ::: now completely ignore me not good at all

Terrible. Ordered an item and it hadn't arrived after four weeks despite my emails and phone calls. They finally refunded me once I'd contacted my credit card company to request a chargeback. DO NOT USE!

I have been told 3 times my order is on its way, the last one said "Hello, Your order has been picked and packed and passed to the carrier and will be with you shortly. Our standard delivery time at the moment is 3 to 10 working days and today is the 5th since order so I would expect you to take delivery by mid next week. We have passed on your email to the carriers and they will contact you with a delivery appointment"
lies all lies, its Thursday nothing delivered or any contact from so-called carriers, this lot is as bad as it gets, they didn't even reply to 3 emails I sent, I only gave them 1 star because 0 is not an option.....update; just been reading the feedback for conwales and now realise I made a BIG mistake buying from them, I have in light of their feedback put in a PayPal dispute.

Buy from someone that has stock, this lot must be drop shipping, or buy from China they are better than this cowboy outfit
20/08/2020; well part of my order has arrived but the most expensive bit is missing, asked again for a refund (only for the bit missing) but I'm sure they will ignore my email as they always do, at what point can I call them thieves ????
