I received the wrong order initially. The packing slip was correct, but the wrong items were in the package. I notified ColourTree via their website of the problem and attached a photo of what I received and the slip. Got a quick reply, but no offer of "sorry for the mistake", just a request for a photo of what I had already sent. Later I got another email wanting a clearer photo and that was sent. Then a 3rd request for another photo of everything I received. I sent that and explained I would like a replacement ASAP as I needed to get the sail installed before a planned weekend event. After the 3rd photo was sent, I got a "we're sorry" and a correct shipment would be sent and they asked if I would send the wrong package back. I agreed and had it at FedEx the next morning. ColourTree said my new package would be mailed that day (Monday) and I would get it by Thursday, asking if that was OK with me. I agreed. The package did not arrive until Friday so I missed my install deadline. I looked at the tracking and a label was created on Monday, but the package didn't reach FedEx until 12am Wednesday. Disappointed at the lack of urgency and concern. On a positive note, I'm pleased with the products. I would order again, but not when I'm on a time crunch.

I did not get the product. I have not revieced any of the email tracking info promised. Your system is defeating your human operation and making you look bad. It maybe weather related but you need to monitor your automatic system so as not to defeat your human system interface.

They made and shipped my custom order very quickly. The shipping company never delivered the package so I contacted ColorTree and in 2 days I received an email. They remade my order and I had it shortly after that. The product is perfect and super easy to install. Great company.

I purchased a custom-made waterproof sail from this company for nearly $1,400. It was a final sale, due to it being custom made. We had to take it down after three days due to light rain making it sag and water seeping through the stitching. At purchase, we were told the size had not been tested and that is why it was not guaranteed. I specifically inquired about water seeping through the stitching and was told it was 100% waterproof. However, water seeped through as soon as it rained. They also have horrible customer service. No one will get on the phone to answer your questions. They only answer inquiries online and your order has to be placed online with very limited responses to your questions over email. I realize it was our decision to buy without a warranty and at final sale, but we based that decision on false and misleading information they provided.

Color tree got my order to be very quickly. This is not my first order. The sun sails that I purchased previously seem to be holding up really well. One thing I might recommend is be sure to plan for the curvature in the edges. Be sure to allow a significant amount of overlap in order not to have gaps. This is a great way to add shade to your yard!

Quick shipping and excellent product

There were 2 products(Shade Sail), and hardware, that were returned to their shop. The Shade Sail was inadvertently sent back, but had the purchasers(my son in law) name on the return slip, but NO ONE confirmed receipt. The hardware was purchase from them as well, had my son in laws name on it as well, plus the original packing slip was put in the return box. These service team was harsh, zero help, did not know who my son in law was, even though his name was on the two return packages. NO ONE was willing to help, and you would think that someone would call me(left my phone number and requested a call more than once). The attitude of the customer service folks was absolutely horrible, and off putting, due to the lack any professional customer service assistance.I sent numerous emails asking that someone call me to discuss the situation, and they went completely dark. They said they had zero information on my son in law, but the hardware box was sent from their LA office with his name on it. They obviously did not want to be confronted with a return of the product(s). Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. $300 is not a huge amount, and if you change your returns, and customers like Nordstrom does, you might gain more customers. The entire process sucked.

The sails I purchased and installed look great, and they provide much shade.

Fast an easy for my custom shade. The hardware kit though, I don't think is sturdy enough to handle the weight of the shade I ordered especially when the wind is blowing. still this company delivers and fast.
