Thank you for the feedback regarding the pricing and portion size. We will certainly consider the pricing moving forward. I would like to take this opportunity to try explain the reason for our pricing.

We charge £10 for both our cocktails and virgin cocktails. This is because our virgin cocktails are not just fruit juice mixes/soft drinks, they’re actual cocktails made with non-alcoholic spirits. Just like our cocktails, they all contain at least a double measure. For reference - because of their lesser popularity - non alcoholic spirits actually cost us considerably more than most of our alcoholic spirits and liqueurs, so charging less for these wouldn’t be possible. However, we pride ourselves on providing ‘something for everyone’ so we always make sure to make the effort to provide equal quality non-alcoholic alternatives.

We feel £10 is a fair price in 2024 for a cocktail/proper authentic non-alcoholic cocktail, especially at a festival. Not only do we have to pay expensive pitch fees to be at the event to sell our cocktails, but we also have to pay a percentage of sales to the event. And of course we lose 20% to VAT. After paying all of our other overheads to be there, we don’t make much - if any - profit.

With regards to the portion size, these are the same sizes you would receive in a bar, but we understand the paper cups can be deceiving. We focus on premium, authentic cocktails so we have both short and long cocktails, just as you would see in a bar. Both have the same amount of alcohol/non-alcoholic spirit, but the shorter cocktails are more potent and designed to be sipped.

I hope that explains a bit better and sorry we weren’t able to convey this information to you before you made the purchase.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback. We will certainly take your comments on board and we're sorry to hear you were disappointed with your order.

I understand you may have been frustrated at the time of writing but I have to address a few inaccuracies/exaggerations for the benefit of anybody else reading this review.

The order was placed after our advertised cut-off time on Monday 15th April. It was therefore shipped on Tuesday 16th April and according to the tracking it was delivered on Wednesday 17th April meaning it was delivered next day and not 5 days later. If this is wasn't the case and it was incorrectly delivered by DPD please always reach out to us for support first as we will do everything we can to make it right in a timely matter.

Furthermore, to clarify, the 4 bottles of cocktails contain a total of 8 servings (full sized and full strength) with an order total of £40.77 plus £5.99 shipping.

With regards to your comments, we're disappointed to be penalised for offering free garnishes and straws. These are charged at no extra to the customer and is something we like to include so you don't require any other bits to complete your drinking experience. The straws have to be wrapped (like at McDonalds) because if we put unwrapped straws in your delivery box this would be unhygienic. Likewise with the garnishes, we choose to wrap these in a sealed paper pouch instead of a clear plastic pouch to reduce any unnecessary plastics.

We take on your feedback regarding recipe cards. Each bottle does have a QR code to show you the 'perfect serve' on our website and states on the front of the bottle if any mixers are required. Again we chose this firstly, to reduce waste but also as our cocktails are 'Just Add Ice' there really isn't much instruction other than adding ice and recommending glassware and garnishes.

We do also offer a range of gift boxes for those looking to purchase for a gift if the aesthetics of the gift is important.

I'm sorry again that you were disappointed with your order. It's always worth reaching out to us directly with any issues first as we will always do our best to resolve them. Regardless, I hope your mum enjoyed the taste and quality of our cocktails.

Good Afternoon Scott,

Thank you for the review and apologies for not replying sooner - We've never received a review quite like this so we thought it best to take some time to think how best to respond.

Firstly, I'm sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with the quality of our drinks. We use the exact same ingredients and quality brands you'd find behind any good cocktail bar in the country so we can guarantee all our ingredients are of the best quality. This includes everything from the spirits and the 100% real fruit juices, to the syrups and bitters. This is why we carry a higher price tag when compared to other pre-mixed 'cocktails'.

With the higher price though comes the guarantee of a truly high quality and authentic tasting cocktail. And that means a double shot of full strength alcohol (as a minimum) in every cocktail.

As for the flavour, our reviews speak for themselves. We have hundreds of reviews across our full range of 55 cocktails explaining how they taste as good as - if not better - than the equivalents mixed to order in a bar.

Occasionally, people explain they weren't a fan of this flavour, or prefer a sweeter cocktail for example, but that's just down to personal preference - the same way I personally would never touch an Espresso Martini as I hate coffee. This is why we created a range of 55 authentic cocktails and mocktails so there's truly the perfect cocktail for everyone, no matter their preference. However, never have we had anybody describe our cocktails as awful or disgusting.

I can only think that the two cocktails you've tried were simply not to your style. And I'd hate for you to judge our cocktails so negatively without having a full experience of what we offer - after all, reviews like this really do affect small businesses like ours.
