I received unsolicited marketing emails from this company despite never signing up or giving consent to be contacted.

I used the unsubscribe link provided, but continued to receive further emails afterwards.

I have raised this as a complaint with the ICO.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend engaging with this company.

Sent spam e-mails inviting us to become involved as a 'local business' for a golf club 300 miles away. This is the third golf club for which they have sent spam e-mails despite assurances that such e-mails would stop.

As ever, can never get to speak to the person named in their e-mails.

Have contacted the golf club concerned and drawn their attention to unsolicited and inappropriate spam e-mails being sent by Clubhouse Sports Media on their behalf.

Dwight and the design team too the brief and delivered and were just excellent, the sales team have been great for this new type of sponsorship for one of our regions clubs and means we keep helping a little bit where we can to promote our business and the region where we all started from.

Sorted everything quickly - slight confusion with invoicing from our side and we over paid but this got sorted straight away which is quite unusual in business. Really recommend.

I strongly advise anyone considering using Clubhouse Sports Media to think twice and proceed with extreme caution.

I have had a thoroughly negative experience. Despite never signing up to their services, I was repeatedly targeted with unsolicited emails. This wasn’t an occasional nuisance - it was persistent spam. What’s worse, multiple requests to have my details removed were either ignored or not properly actioned.

This raises serious concerns around data handling and consent. No reputable organisation should be contacting individuals without permission, let alone continuing after being explicitly asked to stop.

The situation only improved after I escalated the issue by contacting the golf club they were promoting.

Thankfully, the club took the matter seriously and intervened, which ultimately led to the emails stopping - but it should never have required that level of effort.

Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this company altogether. If you find yourself in a similar position, consider seeking legal advice, particularly around data protection and unsolicited communications.

There are plenty of legitimate marketing companies that operate transparently and respect privacy — this is not one of them.

I have renewed my company sponsorship with our local club twice through Clubhouse, they have simplified the process and never been pushy with the process. All in a great service and a very good package along with the sponsorship. Thank you

I used clubhouse sports media to enhance my businesses brand by advertising at a local golf club. They offered me a great package, were very easy to deal with and responded promptly on the phone or by email to all of my questions.

My experience started with unsolicited spam emails, I should have really learnt from that, or at least checked the reviews beforehand.

I entertained and replied to the email, and began a conversation with Jack who told me the exact opposite of what their director Gareth later wrote into the contract. Clubhouse Sports sell a two-year contract of advertising but want either money up front in full (less a 5% discount) or paid over six consecutive monthly instalment (was originally sold as six equal payments over the two year period - even supplied recorded phone calls of that) - thats another thing, they record every phone call.

Stupidly, when I agreed to it their director Gareth sent me three contracts to sign, each one with mistakes on it regarding the terms. I now genuinely believe this was a ploy to deceptively imply terms that I didn't want. I was focused on it missing the "free" second golf club instead of the payment terms.

I've now undergone a battle with their finance team and have invited them to take me to court. I'm convinced I have sufficent evidence of their malpractice and will stringently defend that fact.

I have since found out they have sold an advertising contract for 24 months with a golf club planning to cancel it at the end of their period (6 months time).

This review is a warning for anyone else thinking of or planning on working with Clubhouse Sports Media Ltd. Do not do it, they are charlatans and fraudsters that sell something they don't have using underhand tactics to deceive and decept customers.

An incessant amount of spam emails subscribing me to a mailing list I've not given permission for.
Multiple calls have not resolved this despite promises. Clearly don't care about GDPR which is frightening considering this is a media company.

This can't be helping your clients reputation either.

Several time Ii have asked this company to remove my name from mailing list. They continue to email their information. Very annoying

Signed up with this company so we could play golf at a local course in Rowlands Castle, agreed in the contract no restrictions on tee Times other than on Saturdays and Sundays only to find that was not true. You cannot play before 2pm during the week which means you cannot get a full round in from November to March and you can only book 6 days in advance making it hard to plan and invite corporate guests. No response to my request to cancel the contract and refund the money or response to my phone calls from the MD called Gareth who might be the same Gareth who describes himself as a project manager (and who agreed the contract) on his emails but does not provide his surname.

Constant Spam - Never Signed Up For it

Even when you try to unsubscribe, then someone else from the company bombards you with further more unwanted junk. If this is how they believe business should be conducted, then they are sadly mistaken.

Asked 4 times to be removed, and guess what? I just kept getting more and more emails. Absolutely amazing marketing skills in 2026.
