Looking at the tracking, your order was packed on Tuesday 26/01 and dispatched promptly. Unfortunately, there were multiple delays within DPD’s sortation network, which were outside of our control and caused the hold-up you experienced.
I can also see from the tracking that your parcel was successfully delivered on Sunday 1st February, so it should now be with you.
We always aim to provide a smooth and fast delivery experience, and it’s disappointing when courier delays impact that. If there are any issues with the item now that it’s arrived, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help.
If everything is now resolved, we’d really appreciate it if you would consider updating your review, as this was a courier delay rather than an issue with the product or dispatch on our side.

I actually visited the team at Claudio Lugli (I live not too far away) and got to meet Claudio himself (which was amazing as the guys a genius) I had purchased a new jacket online which needed changing, as sadly it was too small, but they found a replacement and not having my size instantly arranged to have a larger one altered to fit me perfectly. Also I re-ordered a favourite Lugli jacket of mine (I bought it in Handsfords of Chichester a Claudio Lugli stockist) and bought a second different one while I was there. Whoops. Went a bit mad!
Luckily I also got to see the new collection designs and samples too! A brilliant two hours which I very much appreciated. A real company, run by real genuine and kind people selling fantastic products. The new jacket and shirt collection this year is simply outstanding in terms of quality and design. I've been wearing their clothes for around seven years now. Individual, head turning and definitely make you feel ten feet tall. There's not a lot more that I can add really. As you can tell I'm a fan. I'm pretty sure you will be too.

Damaged from poor packaging
Blazer arrived in a cardboard box where the hanger was broken and now the blazer has mark that not sure will come out . Box did not show any signs of damage . Poorly packaged

Superb quality the attention to detail takes some beating , the colour tones of the shirt are just a different level I’m around 16.5’’ collar so order an XL it’s then a great fit they do run a bit small . 5* Excellence. Delivered on time and quickly .

Very good responses and always updating on delivery. Shirt is great and to be worn at my daughters wedding in Australia (Hunter Valley). Excellent quality like my other Claudio Lugli shirts. When I give my sizes the web page comes up with XL as the one to go for. I always go XXL which is the best fit and saves you guys receiving any returns because of XL.

Button hole frayed and sized smaller…
Button hole frayed and sized smaller than other Claudio shirts. Had to pay £5.75 to return the damaged shirt and CL will not refund postage as not accepting it was damaged. I assume they will sell on the damaged shirt to some other unsuspecting customer in the hope they don’t notice it amongst the busy pattern! I asked for an exchange and was told that it would be sent as soon as they received the damaged shirt, however, a week after it arrived (fortunately I sent it tracked) it still hadn’t been sent. Zero customer service. CL himself a lovely chap, met him at Ideal Home Show, his staff (claiming to be his son) does not have the same manners. Shame!

We are responding to your review to ensure the facts are accurately represented.
Your initial contact with us was a telephone call requesting advice on returning two shirts because they were the wrong size for your husband. At no point during this first conversation was any damage, missing buttons, or quality issue mentioned. The discussion was lengthy, calm, and amicable, and we explained our standard returns and exchange process, which has been in place for over a decade and is clearly outlined in our policy. As with most independent brands, we do not provide pre-paid return labels, and customers are responsible for return postage. When asked when we abandon/override our policy in what scenarios we grant customers free returns or reimbursed returns, we replied that we never provide free returns unless in the event that we have made a mistake with the order or there are manufacturing faults/printing errors.
It was only after this explanation that concerns about damage were raised. At that stage, we requested photographic evidence so the condition of the garments could be assessed before return. No photographs were provided.
Subsequently, we were contacted again with claims that multiple buttons were missing and that there was fraying to buttonholes. These issues had not been identified by the wearer when the shirts were initially tried on, nor mentioned during the first conversation. Given the nature of these claims and the fact that all Claudio Lugli garments undergo strict quality control before dispatch, we explained that the items would need to be returned in their original condition (damaged buttons) so they could be properly inspected.
When the shirts were returned to us, they had been altered, including buttons being reattached by the customer. This meant the garments were no longer in the condition in which they were allegedly received, making it impossible to verify the claims or assess whether any issue originated during manufacture or after delivery. For clarity, we cannot accept responsibility for, or refund postage on, items that have been altered prior to inspection.
Despite this, and without any obligation to do so, we proceeded with an exchange once the items were returned, as a gesture of goodwill and to bring the matter to a conclusion. The replacement items were sent after receipt and processing of the return, in line with our standard timelines.
We categorically do not resell damaged, altered, or returned garments. Any item that does not meet our standards is removed from sale. The suggestion that defective products would be passed on to other customers is entirely incorrect.
We stand by the quality of our products, our long-established processes, and the way this situation was handled. We are always happy to help customers when issues are raised promptly, supported with evidence, and before any alterations are made.

We’re very sorry for the frustration this has caused and we completely understand your disappointment, especially given the delivery cost to Guernsey. This is our courier rate for all parcel to Channel Islands.
To clarify, your order was dispatched from our office on time on 8th January. For Guernsey deliveries, parcels typically take around two working days, meaning it should have arrived by Monday 12th January. The tracking shows that on 12th January the parcel was marked as “Parcel held – Shipment Delayed,” which is usually due to weather disruption or the parcel being temporarily unlocatable. It was last scanned on 14th January, and unfortunately no further updates have appeared since.
As soon as it became clear (a week after this) that the parcel may be lost, we raised a formal investigation with the courier. Although this delay was outside of our control, we have arranged for a replacement to be reserved once the courier’s parcel search has concluded.
We appreciate your patience and are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience caused. We assure you that you will receive the item and that our courier has let us down. If you need any further assistance in the meantime, our customer care team is here to help.
