About to remove a privately owned fence without permission

I live next door to a Chorus social housing bungalow. The boundary fence belongs to me, as supported by land registry. I ‘caught’ two Chorus workmen about to remove sections of my fence to facilitate a repair to my neighbour’s property.

Hadn’t bothered to check ownership of fence, didn’t have the courtesy to ask permission. I am almost sorry I stopped them from causing damage as prosecution for criminal damage might encourage Chorus to consider their action.

Absolutely unbelievable that they thought they would get away with causing criminal damage to private property.

A truly shocking company!

Shocking waiting for repairs given a date 5 months time . Desperately need a new kitchen been told wait another 2 years despite all houses on estate being built at the same time and all the other housing associations are putting their kitchens in . They are just awful

I would rate 0 if I could. This housing association has gone through so many name changes luminus, chorus and places for people, and we tenants got promised that they'll b better, places for people also said "we aim to help people with mental health". they have absolutely no idea of how to help they only know how to treat em to make problems worse.

If I could rate them zero I would. Never in my life have I known such an unprofessional, unethical, uncaring business. Where does one begin with the behaviour they’ve allowed from the sex offender tenant and his psychopathic partner? We’ve had constant noise, verbal abuse, online abuse, poison pen letters, multiple attempts to harm our dog, damage to our property, they’ve been done for tax fraud, busted for illegal earnings, on and on for years. Chorus do NOTHING. We had to involve the council and police in the end. Our health was destroyed. They literally don’t care who they’re housing or how their tenants are behaving. They should all be in jail.

No improvement, was given an appointment date for a repair 4 months ago and today nobody showed up without any updates. You have just wasted one day of my precious annual leave that I booked off to be there for the invisible repair.
Also we have just been infested by moths from the communal hallway. Pest control sprayed the hallway but they didn't get rid of them and they moved inside our flats now.

My daughter phoned up 6days ago to report her broken boiler ,she lives with her 8year old daughter and has had no heating or hot water for over a week, what happened to the 24hours priority call out to fix this issue

Absolutely shocking.
I need replacement radiators have done since February this year however chorus keep cancelling appointments
Now mould is growing in my sons room and he is now poorly due to it being so cold.
Also I need replacement sink taps in both bathrooms yet a plumber came to do it and caused more damage than good so couldn't do the job so now that's been put off til February
Had an appointment for tomorrow 23rd December for replacement radiators but for the 3rd time that has been cancelled yet again til January
Complaining doesn't get me anywhere with them yet I have to take time off work for these appointments and I'm still no further forward
Its affecting my mental health and my children
Really do not know what else to do now as nothing and I mean nothing gets done

I phoned these people up to say my light bulb in the wetroom gone , IAM disabled , and they said it's up to the tenants to change it , no respect for the disabled .

This association is absolutely disgusting!! How do these people get payed to be racist? How do these people get payed to abuse tanants and there positions?? If your unhappy go get another job!!!
Watch out for Mark Watson if you have a person with colour you want to exhange homes with forget about it!!!!!! He will do anything in his power to delay the process!!

I second all the below claims. Alleged rent increase when it’s actually a false service charge not even adhered too or required. £109 per month for a strip of carpet and one tiny tiled strip. It’s a rip off. Radiators & bathroom not been changed for 20 years and maintenance of external walls and damp proof not done for 20 years. My clothes are damp as is my bedding most days & winter is abysmal. The lounge is the only working room with no issues except for wood chip paper which I thought was now banned and an inch wide floor length diagonal crack in the supporting wall. I work so pay my rent and charges, however they do this as the majority are housing benefit so claim this without any contract shown to the DWP! This means those on a limited rent allowance are near their threshold if the rent is then increased & the false service charges need paying out of the limited Benefits instead of food. Fraud is the word that comes to mind when the service is not required or done!

Not much to say, chorus homes absolute shocking company. I'd like to get my hands on the people who run this company.

Wow. Where do I start? Where do I stop? No water out of my bathroom tap, for 3 years. Sporadic heating. A front door lock (Union) that doesn't work, to the point of me being locked inside my flat. We do, however, have new carpet and blinds. A main door fob that doesn't work. No heating at all now. Chorus were meant to replace all radiators in the building. However, mine were not replaced. No loo seat since I moved in. Shambolic and incompetent. I wish I could give zero. And yet, somehow, my rent has almost doubled. I could say several things about this, but I won't. This is a public site and some people (not least, Chorus Homes) may be offended.

No respect or care for tenants, no maintenance of properties carried out, repairs are fixed begrudgingly, all complaints ignored.

Simon and stuart came to fit a new boiler they got on with the work with out lunch happy and polite job well done

Don't fall ill when working for this mob. They refused to help in any way. I became so ill I had to take time off. They threatened compulsory redundancy. But in the end I took voluntary redundancy. No sympathy or help from this so called Christian organisation.
