Before purchasing a Chill Tub Essential I did a lot of research before concluding that this would be the best item for me.

Previous ice baths I’ve purchased or looked into have, like this one, been inflatable, but require CONSTANT topping up of air! The other issue I encountered with other competitors was rainfall causing the room to sag and cave in resulting in the water becoming filthy.

There’s no doubt that this is a premium product, though I understand it is the cheapest product Chill Tubs produces, but in my eyes it’s worth every penny.

Set up was sooooo easy! I was dreading it due to poor past experiences with other competitors, but this set up was done and dusted in 5 minutes. The product comes out the box, you inflate it (a one off inflation) and I created a solid rigid pod and lid. It was so easy, and once done, I was so impressed by the quality of the product!

One comment - it is a lot higher than it looks in pictures, so would recommend purchasing with the step, which I believe comes in the same inflatable rigid material, for ease of getting in and out.

It’s by far and away the best ice bath I’ve ever owned and I am hopeful it’ll see me good for many years to come!

I bought the device at the end of 2023, and it has never worked reliably. It was extremely loud, failed to cool properly, and didn’t heat in winter — the water even froze below my set target of 6°C, putting my health at risk. Despite more than 9 service visits, the issues remain unresolved. I can’t recommend this product and request a full refund. I will be switching to a more reliable supplier.

Bought the Chill Tubs Lite, upgraded from a plastic Lumi. The fact that its a constant temperature and where i want it, is such a change. No constant refilling of ice blocks etc.

Great value cold plunge. I upgraded from an inflatable bucket that was costing me £10 a time in ice. The tub stays a constant 4 degrees, I use the chill tabs to keep it clean, use the plunge 4 or so times a week and change the water maybe once a month. Very pleased with it.
