Update after 5/6 years. I read my previous reviews on here for Chess and thought I should write a more recent, accurate review for others to read. Although I have recently had one week without internet, that was due to BT Openreach lines and their terrible communication/coordination around external line repairs. Chess, and every member of staff I've interacted with for that, renewals and contract changes over the years, up to the latest issue of VOIP phone lines being forced by BT - despite BT's poor internet coverage in my area - has been wonderful. I'm not sure what has changed within the company since my previous reviews. Since then, improvements in communication, help, advice, response times, and general conversation on calls has been 10/10. If you're looking for competitive prices, honest advice and support, especially around the copper lines to VOIP changeover, I absolutely recommend Chess based on their customer service and their apparent commitment to improve over the past few years. Thankyou!

i request cancel the line they never do it but still charge line rental +Penalty . first of all i try to call they never answer the phone that reason i cancel direct debt then i wait for invoices . every time call them AI talking with the customer for few recorded messages. i joint different company chessict buying customers from online .

I had an ongoing problem with my telephone, I had no dialling tone, after a week, I contacted Khalida in the morning and explained my concern, I was impressed by the way she dealt with my problem, thanks to Khalida, that afternoon my phone was working again, amazing thank you so much, I was very impressed by the speed of the fix.

For no reason, our phones stopped working! We tried to get support, but couldn't get past AI options and chatbots. All tickets we opened for support were marked as resolved and closed without any contact. We then found our number was in fact disconnected, login credentials for the portal no longer existed, but payments were still taken from our account! Very strange way to conduct business, and very dangerous to trust this company to look after yours.

I can see that you did speak with our AI agent twice and raised two tickets. One was automatically closed as a duplicate, and the other remains open and is actively being worked on. I completely understand how, without clear communication, this would have felt like nothing was being picked up, and I apologise for that.
Our AI support is designed to be the quickest way to log and route issues to the right team, but it’s clear in this case that we didn’t give you the reassurance or visibility you should have had. I’m especially sorry for the concern caused around your services and account access while payments were still being taken.
