I had a highly disappointing and frustrating experience with CheapFlights.com, which I now believe to be a scam air ticket company. Here’s a detailed account of what happened:

I booked an international flight for my family of four on their website, lured by a "promotional price." However, about an hour after making the booking, I received a call from their representative. He informed me that the tickets I had booked were non-refundable, included last group boarding, and did not allow any carry-on or checked-in bags. He then pressured me to upgrade our tickets for additional fees, which was the first red flag, as international flights typically include both carry-on and checked baggage for free.

Despite this, I decided to stick with the original tickets without any upgrades. To my surprise, the representative didn't push further and assured me that I would receive the ticket confirmation within 30 minutes. However, no confirmation arrived, though I noticed that my credit card hadn’t been charged.

Six hours later, I received another call from the same representative, who claimed that the airline had tried to charge my card but was only able to charge a partial amount, with the rest being rejected by my credit card company. This was a blatant lie, as credit card companies either approve the full amount or deny the entire transaction. Moreover, I had not received any notifications from my credit card company about any charges or rejections.

During this second call, I mentioned that I had looked at reviews about their company, and most were negative. The representative sarcastically responded, "So why did you book on our website then?" This unprofessional and dismissive attitude further confirmed my suspicions.

The representative then threatened that the partial amount charged would be non-refundable and pressured me to pay nearly double the original ticket price to cover all the upgrades he had mentioned earlier. He claimed the promotional price would not be honored due to the supposed bank rejection. I refused to agree to the new price and asked him to provide proof of the partial charge and the rejected charge so I could discuss the issue directly with the airline, given that I had a loyalty membership with them.

Despite his continued attempts to get me to pay the inflated price, I insisted on seeing the proof. He promised to send the documents to my email but, unsurprisingly, I never received any further communication.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise against using CheapFlights.com. They employ deceptive practices, bait customers with low prices, and then attempt to extort additional money through fabricated issues and threats. This company is a scam, and it’s crucial to be aware and avoid any dealings with them.

Cheapflight are scammers.
I paid money for me and my kids to go on holiday this August my flights wasn't booked. It was reserved by british airways but not paid for by this so called scammers. They were asking me to pay extra £678 to be able to travel I refuse to pay extra at that last minute. Cheap flight are scammers please do not use them. I will report the company to be closed down, this hard time is not the time to
scam people.

No refund made, they blocked my number

Booked a flight through them paid right there and then, 2 days later got an email there is a problem. new flight price best they can do is 300 pound more, now i have to wait for my money and search new flights, i would not recommend anybody using them. i have booked transport in south africa when i land to reach end destination and now i am told it is non refundable so lost that aswell

This company scammed me.
They asked for £535 for direct flight and paid.
Got an email to called them and then told me my outbound was not available.
I requested a new flight and told me I had to pay £400 for a new one and the £535 offer was out the window.
I requested a refund as they were the ones not providing what they said and they wouldn't.
The bank couldn't stop the payment so had to move all my account funds for the money not to be taken and still on dispute. Luckily the money didt come out when they emailed me and was able to scape but had to leave less money in my account than the flight price for them not to be able to continue trying to get my money.
SCAMMERS, they retain your money but they dont give you what they sold you and they are SUPER RUDE and even swear at you on the phone! DO NOT BOOK! check reviews of this company before you buy or any!

Be very careful when using the website. The booking that is advertised in the search does not match what you actually get. We specifically chose the extra baggage search option. We were then re-directed to Expedia.com to make the booking and the details did not transfer. We did not notice that checked bags were now not included and made the booking. We are now being expected to pay nearly £600 to add checked bags. There is no way to contact cheapflights.co.uk and Expedia and the airline are not interested in doing anything.

Can’t be trusted, they don’t do any due diligence and get their suppliers. They actively allow bait and switch scammers like Airwaay to advertise and rip people off. They are complicit in this type of fraud.

Like many others, I have also been scammed by Airwaay through cheapflights, I dealt with Floyd, probably not his real name, charged me an extra £130 for the seats I already paid for, really stressful dealing with this thief but that's not where it ends, it turned out one day after I paid and had given all my details, those details were used to open a phone contract for the next 2 years , money came out of my bank a month later and my credit rating got screwed up and hasn't recovered yet.
So thanks Cheapflights for letting lowlife criminals go shopping with my hard honest earned money. I always used your company before but not now, you can keep Airwaay and see what is does for your reputation. Greed will get you in the end.

What a bag of bull, this website is a fraud, showing a price then jumping to a lot more without any indication why!

I have use cheapflights to buy a ticket from Airwaays and i end being scam and after reading the review of Airwaays it seems that is what they do to scam people. i wonder why cheapflights is a allowing such travel agency to continues using thier app to scam people.

I wonder why cheap flights is keeping websites like airwaay on their page? After being scammed and then reading reviews of the same account happening to other people. Why is airwaay still allowed to advertise on your website. You're just promoting scam and some of us work really hard and would love to fly home once in while only to find out you've been scammed.

the name is chepflight but in real I found them giving the most expensive tickets , more than £1000 for ticket wich you can buy 500or 600

I wish I could give -5 , such a scamming website. Picked our flights , was taken to Airway site to complete, paid and had a confirmation of the booking. The next day i did get email to say we need to pay additional £440 in order to complete the booking as the inbound booking was not available as they said. I checked the airline and the website of Airway , the same flights were still advertised as available and at the price we paid. Even called Airway , pretending that I want to check availability before a make a booking payment, was told flights are fine and available. No need to say any more , I raised a fraud complaint with my bank. Total scammers , stay away

Oh daaaaaamn I came here to warn people about not using airwaays and I can see cheapflights trustpilot account is in the gutter as a mass result. Nevermind. The reviews here are all valid. Straight up scam websites

Well - not necessarily.
I went on to Cheapflights because I used them years ago with no issues.
I was booking a business class trans-Atlantic flight.
The price I went for was £500 less than the next cheapest flights but was quoted from a cheaper airline.
So I thought it was just a great deal and expected the price difference to pay for the hire car.
So I clicked the link and paid.
I was at work and had a missed call shortly after followed by an email from EaseMyTrip (who I had apparently booked with).
I emailed back to say I couldn't take their call until later and asked what the issue was.
They said they wanted to issue tickets but the airline needed £951 more to confirm. This represented an almost 50% increase in the cost of the ticket.
I cancelled immediately and ended up booking First Class with Virgin for less that these jokers wanted for Business.
I don't think Cheapflights per se are operating outside of acceptable standards but I believe that EaseMyTrip are and I hold Cheaplights responsible for not auditing their partners.

This is a scam website, all links will lead you to scam companies and they will contact you immediately to ask for a new amount due to ticket price changes, these horrbile people should to go to jail, defrauding other people of their blood and sweat from their money is intolerable. Be careful.
I hope the police and competent authorities can solve their fraud problem as soon as possible.

Please be aware!!! On 24th of December I book the ticket in thier website and they redirected me to the fraudster travel agency which is Airwaay.co.uk they scammed me and got money from my account and didn't send my tickets and also there is no any confirmation of that tickets and now after few days they call me from Travelcrew and asking for extera money which they didn't advertised it and said that they no gonna confirm the tickets without that extera money. I called police and bank to investigate also informed to my solicitor.

Un mal servicio la cual compre un pasaje de PR a RD y cuando pague el pasaje me pusieron escala para panamá en un viaje de 7hr no puedo cambiar el vuelo y para cancelar antes de 30 minutos que lo compre me cobraron 40 $ a la cual no llevaba 24Hr como dice la póliza no lo recomiendo
