I have been purchasing from Cheapest Liquor for all my business gifting needs for a couple of years now. The process is so seamless, delivery is fast and the pricing always the best in the market. Very happy.
Prices are great, delivery could be bit quicker
Ordered twice given the materially low prices. First ordered delivered super quick whilst the second had a couple of days delay but well communicated and sent an apology with a nice little gift - much appreciated!
10 week delivery time
I ordered 36 bottles costing over $1500 on 12th August and recieved them on 24th October (although was sent 9 bottles after 6 weeks). How can a company accept an order for stock they obviously do not have.

DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!
I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. They LIE about delivery times and make ZERO contact when you enquire about what is going on. I have since requested a refund - sill no communication. Dreadful company, will be reporting them to Consumer Affairs.

The prices appeared slightly lower than other places, and the delivery was identified as 2-3 days so I purchased around $150 worth of drinks for a birthday party. Unfortunately the products did not arrive within the timeframe. A week or so later I received an email from the company offering to send a refund which I accepted.

Friday 12/09/2025 - Followed up via email (no phone number I could find)
Wednesday 17/09/2025 - Response received - "item out of stock, should be restocked next week, will ship immediately with priority and send tracking"
Sunday 28/09/2025 - I sent another follow up email, given it had been 21 days with no word
Tuesday 30/09/2025 - Response received, blamed Friday public holiday in Victoria, said the order would be despatched next week by the 07/10 and offered a $20 voucher (will not be used!)
Wednesday 08/10/2025 - I gave up and disputed the transaction with my credit card provider. Still no word from the business and it has been 30 days now.
Suggestion - do not buy from here

Would give them a second chance
Ordered a bottle of spirits. Waited for the delivery. After a week it hadn’t arrived. After contacting them I’m then told it’s not in stock. Choose to wait the couple days till restock and it would be shipped. After another 2 weeks it’s a no show. Contact them again and it still not in stock.
Chose to get a refund, been a month and still haven’t received my money.
Ordered from their competition and this birthday present was delivered within the week from ordering.
After this review, they reached out with an apology which is greatly appreciated. Their trying to fix problems and improve their services. Maybe check that they have what you want in stock before ordering to avoid a delay.
NOT A SCAM JUST POOR DELIVERY TIMES
I’ve just moved out and needed to get a fair few things to stock up my liquor cupboard. Price wise these guys were no where near their competition. Even with items on sale BWS, first choice, Dan’s, etc cheapest is far cheaper(who would have thought). Premium spirits are the same price if not better than basic cheap brands at other stores. Just the Angostura Bitters alone was almost half price to anywhere else I could find.
The downside with the company is the delivery time is just a blatant lie. If your buying for upcoming party expect the 2-3 delivery to take atleast 2-3 weeks. Mine was ordered on the 12/09, i contacted them via email and they offered to substitute certain things(as they have a supplier problem which was causing the delays) but I said I’d rather not. They advised me it would arrive no later than the 3rd of Oct(which it did). They apologised profusely and sent me a little gift and letter.
It seems to be a fairly new company which is I believe trying to fix their teething issues, once these things start becoming a more fluid process I believe it will succeed.
Buy at your own risk, I think I will be again but well in advanced before any parties just incase it does take some time.
Just to restate, I don’t think the company is blatantly scamming people. I think other reviews are exaggerations of a difficult scenario, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and received everything I ordered, it just took three weeks and some emails, give them a chance if delivery times aren’t of concern.

Advertised a product they couldn’t supply. Poor communication. No phone number or physical address. Couldn’t get my Visa Card refund until my bank intervened.
No delivery after 3 weeks and communication terrible
Ordered large quantity champagne for a launch event party. Ordered 3 weeks before the event and have not received the order. With no phone number the only comunication is via online message. It has been 5 days and no response to my urgent messages. I finally received a response but a pity it took a bad review to contact me. The refund was issued immediately..thank you.

I'm not sure how to edit my review from 18 September, where I rated Cheapest Liquor 1, so I am placing another review.
After a length of time, and after my review, my order was finally delivered.
On top of my order was a gift by way of an apology, which was gratefully received.
Whilst I cannot rate them higher than a 3, given the length of time to deliver, I will say they did their best to recover.
I was after a particular wine
I was after a particular wine, Cheapest Liquor was the cheapest (no suprise there), and had it listed in stock! Unfortunately I succumbed to the usual problem, a week delay without any dispatch notification, I had to proactively chase them (twice) to be told it was on back order and that if they dont receive it in a week they would refund the order. Of course they didnt proactively reach out to me after a week to let me know so I had to continually chase. I was eventually told I would get a refund in 5-8 business days. 10 business days later I chased again and voilà the refund appeared. To save a few bucks I wouldnt buy online from this mob.

Just a terrible experience
Just a terrible experience - worst online ever! Order not sent after 2 weeks plus - no contact at all - I had to e - told had run out and expected to fill soon. - decided to give benefit of the doubt - WRONG! No contact once again - and no delivery so request a refund - nearly 5 weeks later no deliver NO REFUND - NO customer service
Dishonest and you probably won't get your full order
Update: This company is attempting to actively suppress genuine reviews by reporting them to trustpilot. As such I have amended my rating to a 1.
Not a scam (edit: ARE SCAMMING), just very bad at logistics. Had an issue with my order, received half of my order with no communications on why until i emailed asking why. I had to threaten ACCC/Vic comsumer affairs to get my order. They are cheap but its probably not worth the hasstle of chasing up orders. I think this is a drop shopping company. I eventually did get my order but had to continuously threaten them, however one bottle didn't arrive becauseapparently it was broken and they claimed it would be refunded but it hasn't. Leaving this honest review because i don't want others to experience what I did.
