Wasn’t sat down until 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time because they were slammed with back-to-school haircuts. Was worth the wait though. My stylist gave me exactly the haircut I asked for, with the speed and accuracy of someone who knows exactly what they’re doing.

Very extensive time period for hair (5.5 hours for color/highlights and cut)! It was not reflected in the “after”

Expensive products and services.

Was not given what I requested as a goal for hair colour & made it more difficult to achieve in subsequent colour appointments. So had to backtrack with colour correction by a different agency.

Previous cut was decent but follow up services lacked.

Disappointed.

I recently visited Chatters Shaire Salon for what I thought would be a simple haircut — just a straight cut and butterfly bangs. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I was directed to a stylist who, as I later learned, was fairly new. She didn’t seem to understand what I wanted, even after I explained and showed references.

The entire cut was done using just one pair of scissors — no layering shears, no texturizing tools — and despite my polite request for a bit of movement or texture (“comb sessions” as some stylists call them), she said that would all be done after the blow dry. However, after blow-drying, she simply said it was finished.

What I received was neither a straight cut (the ends are visibly uneven) nor proper butterfly bangs — they look nothing like what they’re supposed to. To make things worse, the price was surprisingly high for such a basic and unsatisfactory result.

I left feeling frustrated and regretful that I trusted the process. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to Chatters. I expected at least a standard professional outcome for the price I paid, but this was far from it.

Friendly staff and a great haircut. The shop is set up in a way that makes it feel like you're no longer in a busy shopping centre.

I had such a great experience at this salon with Angie as my hair stylist! As someone with naturally curly hair, it’s often hard to find a stylist who truly understands how to cut and care for curls, but she did an amazing job. My stylist took the time to listen to what I wanted, explained every step, and made sure my curls were hydrated and defined. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were kind and professional. I left feeling confident and loving my hair!

Angie was awesome she really helped me understand my curls and how to use the products everyone was so kind and helpful and made sure I had everything I needed.

Laurie has magic fingers and scissors plus we solve all the world’s problems. Win win!

The cut was good but appointment felt rushed I didn’t receive the complementary services advertise. The stylist told me she was going to send me an email with recommended hair care products which I never received.

Communication could of been better but otherwise was favourable service

This was hands down one of the best haircuts I have gotten in the last four years. I had an amazing experience and my curly hair has never looked better. I will be going back and will definitely reccomend her to any other curly haired friends I may come by. :)

This is my 2nd haircut with Siow. Excellent service: nice haircut, cheerful and friendly hairdresser. (My old hairstylist had retired in June.)
