Any if the items I recieved had water damage and mold. I sent photos and am awaiting a reply to tell me how it is going to be fixed.

I want to update my review after speaking directly with Faire support.

My original concern was never about trying to receive a discount I wasn't entitled to. The issue was the lack of clear communication surrounding a Faire promotion that was advertised to me via email.

I received an email from Faire offering 50% off and clicked the "Shop Now" button within that email to place my order with Charity Leaf before the promotion expired. When the discount was not applied, I contacted support and was eventually informed that although I was eligible for the promotion, it only applied to orders placed through the Faire Marketplace and not through a brand's direct Faire link.

The problem is that nowhere in the promotional email was that distinction clearly stated. As a customer, I had no way of knowing that clicking the link provided in the promotional email would direct me to a purchase path that was ineligible for the advertised discount.

During my conversation with Faire, their support representative acknowledged that the email should have indicated that the order needed to be placed through Marketplace in order to qualify. That acknowledgment confirmed my concern: the confusion was caused by unclear communication, not by customer error.

I appreciate that Faire ultimately provided a credit and recognized the issue. My hope is simply that future promotional emails clearly explain any restrictions so other customers do not experience the same confusion.
