Great items but site needs some work
Great items but site needs some work. When I click to see more details and then want to return to to list it takes me back to beginning, requiring me to scroll back to where I was on master list.

Unexpected fee
I ended up winning a bid for a hotel room but had an unexpected buyer's premium of $50. I went back to look closely and could not find it in the fine print. I would have taken that into account before making my final bid. It would have been cheaper for me just to reserve a room but I understand it was a good cause.

I love charitybuzz. They always have some very unique experiences and items--great for gifts and just because you want a treat. I look forward to all of the new items. Sometimes, if the donors are a little hard to reach/slower, they step right in to assist--really great!

The item and service was great, but hidden charges
The item and service was great, but I feel like the auction charge of 20% is fairly hidden. You have to go into one of the drop downs to see it, at least on the computer I was using. That really increases the overall cost, and I feel should be noted when you're bidding. Something like "$5000 bid plus $1000 buyers premium", so you know the real cost.

I'm partly to blame because I didn't read all the fine print to the end. I haven't bid here in quite a few years, so I didn't know that things had changed. When I did win on one of my bids, I was very surprised to see that there is now an extra fee for "Buyer's Premium", which is a whopping 20% of the bid amount. Now that I know this, I will never be bidding on anything at this site again.
As an update, I did receive the item fairly quickly and in good shape.

Charity buzz Is fire!!!
Besides being able to donate to a very charitable cause (the leukemia foundation), I was able to meet two of the most beautiful people in Hollywood (Courtney Vance & Angela Bassett) . We sat, talked(barely ate because we talked so much) and enjoyed each other’s company. This is the stuff that dreams are made of! Thank you!
