Our 15 year old daughter suffers anxiety and is extremely shy making school (especially speaking in class) and social situations very difficult for her. However she found Annette extremely easy to talk to and empathetic of her situation. She feels the practical tools and skills she has been working on with Annette over 6 sessions will really help her develop her confidence at school and beyond.

So happy to have found Annette! My child had been suffering from low self esteem, and anxious about school in general. Annette's approach is incredibly positive, taking the negative out of a situation and turning it around with her strategies that really do work. I can see a change in confidence already, and a more positive outlook which is amazing.

This coaching for teens really works. The difference it made to my son has been life changing and given him tools for life. Annette was great and my son found her easy to talk to and made such sense to him. Her programme is detailed and made simple for young people and adults to follow and understand. I can't thank her enough.

Annette quickly connected with our daughter who was experiencing low self-esteem & finding communication challenging. Through discussions with her on preparing talking points, body language, breathing exercises, reflection on different situations and encouraging us as parents to give our daughter the lead in new situations, Annette has increased our daughter’s ability to handle challenges & disappointments and cope with busy social situations. We can see à considerable difference in her approach to life and alongside completing a difficult academic period, Annette’s help has been invaluable in this change.

After reading other reviews, I must admit to being slightly sceptical that six sessions could actually make so much difference to our 13 year old daughter and her confidence. I couldn't have been more wrong! Annette was fantastic. After 6 sessions, we have our happy, confident and smiley daughter back! After each session, Annette sent over information about what they had covered, and gave prompt sheets so we could continue this throughout the week. If you are a parent that is still unsure about whether this could be right for your child - take this review as reassurance that it does work! Thankyou so much Annette :-)

Annette was such an amazing help for our son who lacked self-confidence and self-belief. He was able to engage with her straight away and the sessions together with the 'challenges' she set him after each session really helped him to be able to tackle situations he had previously been avoiding. As parents we felt really involved and were always kept up to date with how we could support him and what we could do as well. We saw both an immediate change in him as well as a lasting effect. Our child had very little confidence and self-belief and the sessions with Annette really helped with this. Annette was so accommodating with the sessions adjusting them to meet our childs needs, making them feel comfortable and at ease which in turn enabled our child to sit for the full session and to get the most from it. Annette helped my daughter with online sessions in the evening. Each session was followed up by an email, a task and a reminder sheet. My daughter found the sessions very helpful. The coaching reminders,actions, and 'mini-missions' were quite beneficial in her progress.

Annette is very professional. Her communication was exemplary, sending details of each session ahead of time and summaries after for us to read.

My son found Annette easy to talk to. At one point he had a fall out with his friendship group and Annette was there to chat with us as parents and pivot from the originals session’s topic. She put in place a thought out discussion to support him and navigate through it.

As a family we were not quite as organised and Annette was very understanding when we were late to a meeting and kindly rescheduled it for us to the next week.

I would like to book some more sessions with Annette as my son goes through school and support him during the stressful days of GCSEs.

Annette is a well accomplished confidence coach who specialises in inspiring children all ages to reach their full potential and free themselves from insecurities that are holding them Back. She is empathetic, articulate and has been working with my son who struggles with social confidence. He has grown and learnt fantastic techniques to overcome his shyness around certain situations and is building resilience and self esteem that will only serve him positively as he transitions into his teenage years. To have Annette coach him is also providing a safe space for my son to discuss any problems , worries or any challenges he faces with the added bonus of having someone to help him with future strategies he can implement in real life . It was a pleasure working with Annette during the period my son received emotional resilience coaching. Annette is kind, adaptable and used a gentle and encouraging approach when interacting with my son in helping him to overcome some confidence and resilience difficulties and challenge his thinking patterns. Annette kept me fully in the loop about his coaching and was very supportive in discussing via email any particular difficulties or issues my son was experiencing. I’ve seen a boost of confidence with my daughter, Annette was able to get things over to her that I have tried and failed as a parent.

My 16 year old son was struggling socially with his peers and had a lack of confidence coupled with anxiety.
Within a few weeks, Annette has helped him to essentially "come out of his shell".
He is now more self-assured around his peers, more comfortable within himself and generally happier.

We have seen our teen develop his assertiveness and sense of self. He os now better able to consider the impact of his decisions. As a family, we have made simple adjustments to our schedule to allow opportunities him to practise social skills learned from the coaching sessions. There has been a marked improvement in his attitude to school work. The greatest benefit has been the provision of a toolkit of simple steps to follow. This has reduced social anxiety and improved his judgment in tackling situations with teachers, friends, acquaintances and family.
