I like what they're trying to do but god its so hit and miss.
My very first order of Next Wave arrived damaged and clearly used. I emailed asking for another and sending photos. I was told another would be sent. 2 weeks later I sent an email asking for an ETA and got a response saying now they had more stock it would be sent the same day (I suspect they forgot).
It arrived fine so thought I’d order the next edition of Next Wave (which arrived in reasonable time) however I also ordered a specific cassette thats showing in stock and 2 weeks later I’ve heard nothing. Website says 2-3 days shipping fulfilment.

Ordered a C60 blank chrome cassette, which arrived quickly enough. The tape was not like the one pictured, as it was not the screwed together type. There was also no case inlay, which was pictured. Strangely, for a blank tape, you have to stick tape over the write protect holes before it could be used. This wasn't mentioned on the page for the item I ordered.

I really champion this company and what they are trying to do to raise the profile of cassette tapes. Their finished cassettes are to a very high standard but unfortunately I had a disappointing experience. I had paid & asked for coloured cassette cases as a feature for my product but when I received them only 8 were in coloured cases the rest all in plain clear ones. This means I cannot use them as I’d hoped. I had thought I would buy more coloured cases, unwrap the clear ones & replace but it’s hard to market unwrapped media. So I have a box of cassettes I can’t use. I have contacted Chalkpit to tell them how disappointed I was but they have never replied to me.

I ordered back in late November. They didn’t write anything about it not being produced or them needing to have stuff shipped before sending out.
And then they write that they will ship the latest last week and still nothing. Just pure quietness. NO mail about a delay or any communication about it not being shipped except when I asked after almost three weeks why it wasn’t shipped

It could NOT be more unprofessional if anyone tried their hardest!
