What a rip-off
Asked for basic, budget battery smoke alarm and bathroom ceiling light. Total for the two was over £50. I was rather shocked and queried the price. I was told smoke alarms were just that price and after all it was a 10 year litium battery and the bathroom light was their cheapest model and that's just how much things cost.
An absolute lie.
Basic lithium battery smoke alarm and ceiling light totals:
Screwfix £21.28
Toolstation £24.99
Of course they will say their products are better quality but looking at them they are just the most basic products and no better than any other.
