I am always very impressed with the service we receive from Cathedral Hygiene, especially Kristi who regularly visits the Business Centre. She is reliable, friendly and always completes everything to a very high standard.

Could you confirm you work with/ for MBR Acres in Cambridge? This is a facility that breeds beagles for toxicity testing. There is now New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) that are more efficacious, testing on dogs does not extrapolate to humans. These tests are cruel, physically and emotionally painful and now unnecessary. Anyone who cares about dogs should not do business with this business if this is true.

I am disappointed to see that Cathedral Hygiene continue to work with/partner with MBR Acres. As a consumer, I personally take business associations into account when deciding who I support, and this relationship has made me uncomfortable enough that I would choose not to use them in future.

I believe companies should carefully consider the organisations and individuals they align themselves with, as it inevitably reflects on their brand and values.

We've used Cathedral Hygiene for nearly a decade. While being incredible value, they are discreet and efficient. Their team who come to change the bins are always polite and never a bother. We've not had to deal with their customer service dept as there has never been a problem. And anytime the company are in contact it's always useful friendly information. Would highly recommend

Despicable to be involved with MBR Acres

I was disappointed to learn of Cathedral Hygiene’s reported association with MBR Acres, a company involved in breeding beagles for laboratory research.

As someone who cares strongly about animal welfare, this raises serious ethical concerns for me personally and affects how I view the business. I believe customers have a right to make informed choices about which companies they support and the organisations those companies work with.

I would encourage people to research the issue themselves and decide whether it aligns with their own values.

Small business do NOT sign up with cathedral. It is not a legal requirement which is what I was sold on when I first entered the contract 6ish years ago. Anyways as i began to run into serious financial difficulty over the past year I decided to give notice on my bin and as begin to wind down my company. They collected the bin and asked me to pay my contract until 2028 a total of nearly £500. They then have sent me letters requesting an extra 400 for court and recovery costs that they couldn't even break down into anything legit. I gave them an offering of £100 just as a peace offering as I hate ending things on bad terms and after refusing they want to send debt collectors. Absolutely pathetic company, the girls that collect are lovely but these guys dont have an empathetic bone in their body. I cant wait to see the debt collector try and recover my floatation pod and empty the half a tonne of Epsom salt in it. They will be doing me a favour in all honesty.

I want to share my experience of working with Cathedral Hygiene, specifically with Ben, Helena and Ann Marie. The service provided by this company is a world away from the terrible experience that I had with PHS. They are all amazing and provide exceptional customer service and I cannot thank them enough. Ann Marie checks in with me the day before she’s due on site to make sure that I’m around and to agree a time. She’s always prompt, smiling and provides a very personal service. It’s not the nicest of jobs in the world to have to do but she does in with a smile and with such panache. Take the feedback and share far and wide – THANK YOU. Cathedral Hygiene are amazing!

Sad to hear about your collaboration with MBR Acres in Huntingdon. I came across the awful plight of the beagle puppies at MBR Acres, when a colleague told me about them.
The experiments often fail and are outdated. It’s really just a money making industry sadly, leading to terrible suffering. MBR Acres show no care to these poor puppies who never know fresh air, grass or affection, before they die in laboratories.
Please do the right thing, and move away from this horror. Therefore I will not recommend this business

Making the agreement was fairly straightforward and Abigail was extremely personable and helpful in this regard. We later had a change in circumstances and for this the communication behind the scenes seemed to be a little clunky however, with some encouragement, the right solution was reached, it just took a little time. Overall a positive experience.

Liam and the team at Cathedral could not have been more helpful. They acted quickly when our current provider let us down and were more competitive on price. I used Cathedral in my last company and never had a single complaint. I would highly recommend them.
