This is the 3rd car my family has bought from Carlingo. We would not buy a car from anywhere else. No pressure when looking round the showroom. Helpful and knowledgeable staff if we did ask for help. 5 star service every time.

Jimmy the sales guy was really helpful and had a good knowlege of the car I purchased . There was a good selection of cars on line and at the showroom.

Fantastic experience with Carlingo Harrogate. Amy Farmer looked after me from start to finish and did a fantastic job. I had a higher value car to trade in, so I was taking a car and receiving cash back as well, but all the steps were explained very clearly and I was fully informed throughout. Nothing was too much trouble - the level of service was better than my last car purchase at a Mercedes main dealer, honestly! I would 100% recommend Carlingo Harrogate (and recommend you ask for Amy).

Stuart was great, really relaxed car buying experience. Didn't feel pushy or salesy like other garages we went to and were allowed to test drive a couple of cars to get a better understanding of what we wanted. Very happy and ended up with a very nice car!!

Overall pleased with things initially but after having a good inspection of the car at home I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the vehicle. Inside I found a prescription for the previous owner and outside the windows have a green fungus or moss along the bottom seal. Have also discovered the air conditioning doesn’t work properly, something I would have expected to be checked before the car was released to me. Everything else seems okay but little things are important and I think finer details could certainly be done better.

I travelled from Birmingham to complete the purchase of a 2019 Skoda Octavia estate, which had 42,628 miles on the clock, and whose provenance included two previous owners, the last one being in Essex. Stuart was my first contact with the dealership, and he demonstrated competence, transparency and no guile in our first communications over the phone. When I arrived at the dealership I met Sam, who showed me the car and came with me on the test drive. Sam also demonstrated competence, defined as great professionalism and etiquette in dealing with me, alongside an in-depth knowledge and comprehension of the process in hand. Then I met with Joey, who finalised all the admin with me for handover of the car. Joey was also delightful in his conduct. As for the car, it is perfect and both my wife and I are unreserved in recommending Carlingo for their care of service and focus upon the provision of used cars with good provenance and ongoing good serviceability.

On handover I couldn’t properly check the car over and open the car doors fully to check properly as it was parked in between 2 cars so impossible.
When I arrived home, my husband commented on the general state of the car as it had stains spots on the passenger seat.
A couple of deep scratches where a seatbelt had been caught and not touched up.
The sales man had pointed out a paint defect next to the petrol cover which had been passed on. But wasn’t done on my pick up day
We noticed as well the bonnet liner was missing, that lines the under bonnet to protect the paintwork of the bonnet etc.
the car was dirty and not catered properly.
Not what I expected from the company

The car we went to view was exactly as expected. No hidden problems. It was spotlessly clean and ready to go. There was no hanging around waiting to be seen. The staff were efficient and professional and made purchasing the car an easy transaction. The fact that it's an independent company shows, with the staff taking pride in their work.
We would recommend Carlingo to anyone.

Great handover and help setting up things like radio/phone.

FIRST CLASS SERVICE FROM START TO FINISH, BOTH NICOLA AND RICHARD DEALT WITH ME IN A VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY MANNER. PAYMENT WAS MADE WITHIN MINUTES OF VIEWING THE SKODA CAR, AND THE PRICE WAS VERY GOOD OFFER MORE THAN I HOPED FOR, WILL BE MY FIRST CALL NEXT TIME I HAVE A VEHICLE TO SELL.

Was advised to look at Carlingo from a friend that had used them previously and can wholeheartedly say…we are SO pleased we did!
Spotted a cracking little Aygo for our daughter having just passed her test and after making contact with Danny he couldn’t have been more helpful.
Initially missed the 1st test drive due to my work commitments, but Danny immediately sorted out another time and was very welcoming and informative when we met him.
Needless to say, a bit of cash lighter, another car on the driveway and one VERY happy daughter.
All in all, a fantastic experience from the guys at Carlingo Harrogate…from Danny, Amy and Joey on vehicle delivery date…THANK YOU 👌👌👌👌
