Campaign Agent are a credit provider and will run a credit application without informing you

Firstly at no stage was I told this outsourced service was a credit provider, secondly that it would run a credit application, I found this out when I called them!!
I have no problem with credit, when I DECIDE to use credit but not when sneaky agents and 'Campaign Agent' do everything in their power to hide it.
There is no mention on application which is 2 buttons only, pay now or pay later, that you are applying for credit, nor is there mention that they are a credit provider and ask if you have read their terms and conditions.
I have cancelled the application because of the unethical practices of both the agent and 'campaign agent'
No wonder real estate agents are at the bottom of the trustworthy profession ladder, they can't even carry the advertising costs of a sale, upon which they receive a huge amount of money.
Even used car salesmen have to purchase stock to sell, not RE agents no way do they carry any risk or cost.
The whole thing makes me despair of selling my home with any agent, I think I'll do it myself, I trust me!

This is my second review, fee that shouldn’t be a thing (just a money grab) with fine print

This is my second review, as I had to pay an unacceptable fee twice as a selling 2 properties. This 2 review requests.
I have sold 8 houses over 30 years with 2 sales in last year and 1 few months ago. The marketing costs and commission etc come out at settlement every time with no fee.
I mistakenly read your email with the total and assumed the same, only to find opting to pay later for 2x marketing cost me an extra notable amount. I went back and looked at the original email and the fee is in the later fine print section. Not very transparent but a bit sneaky instead of Cleary stating pay now $x or pay later$y.
I only selected pay later as it’s the norm from every agent I have used. If I’d seen the money grabbing fee would be a different story.
It’s not about the $$, but I hate sneaky boarder line misleading.
Nonetheless, my bad for trusting it was the normal pay later arrangement, rushing to process several contracts and documents, and not reading further down.
I’m sure this service is fine for those with no cash flow on hand, but again it should always sit with the Agent until sold or withdrawn from market.
Sad that RayWhite is using an intermediary that makes profit from something that should not be a thing.

When Pay Later is selected, we pay the marketing costs upfront to your agent on your behalf, and a flat fee is applied for that service. This fee and structure are outlined during the application process and in the supporting information provided to vendors.

That said, we hear your point around how this was presented. It’s important to us that vendors clearly understand the difference between Pay Now and Pay Later, including the cost difference, before making a decision. Wonderful this service /info is, I did struggle navigating at the beginning of pre-filling the online forms because I am the POA and at times was confused what information was required. Eventually, once I passed through the "security" section, the rest of the info requirement was very easy.
